Overview
This sleek and modern boutique hotel is located in central Reykjavik, next to the Icelandic Opera House. It offers free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre and spa facilities. 101 Hotel also houses a stylish restaurant and bar. Contemporary design, along with black and white interior are featured in every guest room. Each is equipped with a minibar, satellite TV, CD/DVD player and Bang & Olufsen Beoplay speaker. Some rooms also have harbour views. The in-house restaurant serves traditional Icelandic and international cuisine. It also features special menus for both happy hour and brunch. Guests can enjoy an after dinner drink in the trendy bar. Hotel 101 is located right around the corner from the city’s main shopping street, Laugavegur. Staff can recommend several restaurants, cafés and shops, all within walking distance.

Nice hotel right in the city center with a super friendly staff, composed by young and smiling people. Rooms are well fournished and good in terms of size. The little spa, together with the GYM, is a relevant plus.

“Top quality hotel in an outstanding location”
Ive stayed at the hotel for over a decade- but never in Summer. Our first offered room was noisy at 4 pm due too a sound check at the music venue next door, but the manager sorted the problem with a room further away from the boundary wall. Nothing the hotel can do about their noisy neighbours but worth checking. The facilities are good - I used the gym and the spa is good. We had cocktails in the bar on both nights - the barman is excellent. Location is outstanding.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, close to restaurants and bars and shopping. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, and gorgeous design/decor. Bonus that there are a few complimentary parking spaces just around the corner.

This was a great place to stay in Reykjavík close to famous attractions like rainbow road etc, beds were very comfortable and staff were very friendly.

Really beautiful hotel, very clean, modern & comfortable. Lovely bathtub in our room that was perfect after a day travelling up from the south. Had a gorgeous private spa/hot tub that was an added bonus too. Only thing missing was a coffee maker in the room, but apart from that, would 10/10 recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at 101 hotel in downtown Reykjavik that is member of the Design Hotels. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location in the heart of Reykjavik was perfect for exploring the city. We found the hotel to be impeccably clean and the lounge area incredibly comfortable. Overall, we felt we received great value for our money. The design of the hotel is both stunning and timeless. Highly recommended!

“Good location, hospitality but little inconvenience”
-The staff are very kind and cooperative. - The hotel location is very convenient. - Bed is comfortable and good to sleep. - Sheets and both robes are quite good quality. - Toilet and Shower room are completely separated. - The hotel staff prepared birthday messages. - The scenery was splendid
