Had everything we needed and more! The record player was a nice touch and created a calm ambience. Excellent location and easy to find.

An amazing place, an amazing cosy cabin, an amazing, hot tub, very kind hosts. On the top af the hill you have a stunning 360° view. Cabin is super equiped for a relaxing stay full of music (guitar and records) and hot bath under the stars and if you are lucky enough like us, under northern lights!

360 views. The cabin was beautiful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has all you need- they have a ‘survival guide’ book for instructions on how to use the hot tub, record player, washing machine, etc. and all you need to know and visit around the area. It’s equipped and has a homey feel. Loved our 3night stay a lot!

Stunning views, beautiful location. The record player is a great touch as there is no TV! (It was great not having a TV). Amazing hot tub where you can gaze at the stars and if you are lucky like us, witness the Northern Lights. Simply an incredible find, we were very lucky to get to stay at Hilltop Cabin Hekla for 4 nights!

The cabin has been superb. Cosy, romantic and spacious, elegant at the same time. Equipment in the kitchen is modern, high quality and sufficient for a short or long stay. The hosts were amazing, provided a lot of tips and I felt they really took care about our safety in the Icelandic severe weather - constantly informing us about road condition, weather updates. Oh and they gave us early check-in and late check-out on their own initiative. We love and appreciate such extra-ordinary attitude. What a fantastic experience it was. Totally unforgettable, I have no words to describe warmth which I feel when I think about this stay.

Lovely shower and really nice record collection. The hot tub was a really good addition and the beds were really comfy, we particularly loved the bed in the cubby hole.

This was truly an exceptional place to stay. The cabin is very nice with a great view and well located. The hosts are extremely helpful and added many details to the place to make you feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is the cherry on top of a great place to stay.
