Lodge had 3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs with an open plan upstairs that had 2 double beds a sofa and to. Kitchen / toilet roll supplied. Fridge / freezer, oven, microwave and lots of other utensils etc. plenty of space

The house is very comfortable and located in an excellent spot. It easily accommodated five people. A great kitchen combined with the living room, bedrooms are perfectly fine, and the bathroom is functional, although you can slightly see the passage of time. Excellent value for money. As a bonus, an unobstructed view of the northern lights straight from the house.

The place is huge and perfect for families. The amenities and cleanliness were perfect. Hot tub was an added bonus, we were lucky to see the aurora while relaxing. The location is ideal for anyone with a vehicle and wants some privacy. Also 20-30 minutes from 2 great lagoons.

A fantastic log cabin with an excellent location. Extremely spacious - could sleep eight, very well equipped kitchen and lots of personal touches that made it feel like you were staying in a home not a holiday rental. The jacuzzi was a bonus. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Location, close to the geysers, Guldfoss,Secret Lagoon, Thingviller. The outside hot tube is a really nice extra just missing a light when enjoying a bath at night. It is spacious, cozy and has everything needed. I didn't bring back home much dirty clothes cause I could do the wash/ dry there.

Located in a quiet natural environment. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped house with a helpful owner. Highly recommended!

Excellent facilities including hot tub, dishwasher and washing machine. Superb location within 20 minutes of Bruarfoss and Gullfoss and 5 minutes from Geysir.

Cozy spacious living room with comfortable sofa, well-equipped kitchen, perfect and huge beds, and a hot tub outside. You don't need anything more after a day spent discovering unbelievable natural beauties. Many amazing sites are reachable within an hour of driving (Hot Spring River, Kerið, Brúarfoss, Secret Lagoon, and many others). Kids tired of waterfalls will find themselves happy at the Slakki zoo :-) Geysir in walking distance, Gullfoss 10 mins driving. Minimarket (expensive) with gas station 20 mins driving, less expensive groceries 50 mins driving

“Perfect staying”

Everything was perfect, I had such a good time at the cabin, we also experienced the very first time the aurora borealis at the cabin almost every night we spend

Very spacious and could easily sleep 8 people if needed. Had everything needed for a 4 night stay, including fully equipped kitchen with bits and bobs like herbs/spices salt pepper etc if needed (saves buying, we used some but replaced with pasta packets etc that we didn’t use). The location was stunning, surrounded by snow and mountains (big hills) and 100m or so from the nearest neighbour.

Beautiful nature around cabin, very close to Gullfoss and even closer to Geysir, also easy drive to Skálholt, the next town and more, I fully recommend this cabin

Excellent location with beautiful surroundings. Very good facilities and includes some extras that we didn’t expect like spices and seasoning for cooking which was nice. Very nicely designed inside.

The log cabin was in a really great location. It had snowed when we arrived and it was like a painting. The surrounding hills and remoteness made for an exceptional experience witnessing the northern lights.
