We had a very pleasant stay at the farmhouse for two nights. Our rooms were spacious and sparklingly clean , the amenities including the kitchen were great, and the staff were friendly and caring. The kids enjoyed the toys that were available to them, and the nice view from the windows. Also the location worked well for us, as it was no more than 30' drive from key attractions such as Gullfoss, Geysir and Strokkur

Magnus was a great host. We needed a baby cot at the last minute and he came in the evening and provided one. The house has a great atmosphere and nice views.

It was perfect! The best accommodation we have ever been to!! This house is like from the movie! So cozy and cute! It’s like you came to your granny to the village, feel home! The host was amazing! Nice and warm! Breakfast was good. The best thing is hot tube of hot springs and we saw aurora from there❤️ we absolutely loved this place! The best experience of Iceland!

Ideally located, great facilities, I was well looked after for my 3 night stay. Good breakfast and kitchen. Hot tub good for relaxation after a day out.

“Idyllic setting”

The lodge is in an idyllic setting. Beautiful views of river and mountains. Magnus the owner was brilliant. He served us coffee on arrival and provided a generous breakfast spread in the morning. He even cut a bunch of grapes from the dining area. The grapes were sweet.

The property was great. Anna was outstanding, she truely made the trip so memorable and relaxing. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating, welcoming every guest and taking the time to find out what we had done and what we could add to our trip.

Situated in a very serene surrounding of farmlands, fields and mountains. Beautiful! Our room is a family room with a view of the mountains and river. The mist on the mountains in the morning is magnificent. Breakfast was good. It’s like a home away from home. Close to waterfalls and not far from Geysir or Gullfoss.
