Cottage is spacious, clean with full kitchen and washing machine . There are horses, sheep and dogs too. Was able to see northern light on one of the night from cottage which was great !

Excellent cabin/cottage in the Reykholt valley. Very close driving distance to Borgarnes to stock up on supplies at the bakery, bonus and vinbudin. Exceptionally clean, comfy and amazing views down the valley.

A very friendly welcome, a nice host, a large well-equipped house with a spacy living room that offers panoramic views; the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms have all what's needed for a stay. Located at a farm with animals, close to major attractions (blue water waterfalls, recent lava fields etc.)

Everything was perfect, great house and friendly hosts.

“Hidden gem. Our most preferred stay in Iceland!”

This was without any doubt our most loved accommodation during our tour of Iceland. Quiet and beautiful location half an hour's drive from the supermarkets in Borgarnes. Although we have stayed in 'fancier' places in Iceland, the value for money is unbeatable and this is a very nice cottage as well with all the facilities you need. It has a unique and scenic view over the surrounding and is very spacious and well furnished. Moreover, Rebecca and her family are super friendly people. Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Very grateful that our daughter could use the trampoline and that she/we could feed the baby sheep. We would love to come back someday! 10+!

“A wonderful warm respite from the rigours of travelling through Iceland's landscape and weather”

The cottage was lovely, warm and cosy, a perfect bolt hole from the Icelandic weather. The location was brilliant - wonderful views across the valley to the mountain ranges beyond. The host was very friendly and welcoming, even making time to show us the sheep and lambs!

“Erholung pur!”

We spent 3 wonderful days at the cottage in October. As the weather slowed us down a bit, we were able to enjoy our time in the really cosy house and relax a bit. The house is very spacious and is tastefully decorated. Everything you need was there. We didn't want for anything. The owners are very accommodating and warm. We will be very happy to come back!

“Just fantastic!”

Very nice cottage with a washing machine and a kitchen with evertything you need. Clean, quiet in a nice area with beautiful viewings, especially at golden hour. Lovely owner Rebecca and very cuty little puppies (aug '22)! And the hottub was great! Too bad we had to leave.

Cozy and well equipped cottage with nice view. We really enjoyed our stay at Kópareykir farm.

“Beautiful, quiet, farm stay cottage with lovely host”

Rebecca was a wonderful, helpful, friendly host - as were her kids! The vieww from the cottage was stunning and the horses were so well trained. Bonus: they had 4 week-old puppies - so lovely to play with them! We had everything we needed and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Big cottage with amazing view. 1 hour drive from Reykjavik, half an hour to big supermarkets.

Cool place! Everything looks like new and clean for the best visitors experience. Amazing horses are right next to the cottage:) small piece of gravel road is easy accessible with a low car (we had toyota yaris)

“Beautiful property with great views on clear days. Lovely comfortable lounge area”

The property is well maintained with plenty of homely features which made our stay relaxing and comfortable. Property is situated on a farm, easy to see chickens, sheep and lambs walk pass from the large windows which gave you panoramic views. Except for in the bedrooms, there are no blinds elsewhere so whilst you get a good view, there is less privacy although the property is quite remote. Well stocked kitchen with dishwasher, the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Very hospitable hosts and their young son kindly showed my daughter round the farm to see the lambs which had recently been born and horses.

The guest house is very well organized and very clean. You have everything to cook, washing machine....and a lovely living room with nice views. The owner is very kind and friendly. The bed very comfy.

The cottage was furnished with everything we needed, particularly in the kitchen. The view from the windows was stunning. We felt comfortable straight away!
