Overview
This countryside property, in the Western Iceland town of Borgarfjördur, is next to the Hvítá Glacial River. It offers free Wi-Fi in the reception, as well as an on-site restaurant and bar. Breakfast was good, and the room was perfectly comfortable for my stay. It was a great location to go to Barnfoss and Víðgelmir Cave.

“Great place”

“Peaceful country stay”
Very nice breakfast. Cute dog. Loved the room and view. Maybe room could have a bit of color refreshing but everything was sufficient!

“Perfect accommodation in a beautiful location”
Very friendly and helpful staff. The unit was really nice and perfect for a family. On top of that the location was very good as we had a tour of the glacier of which the meeting point was very nearby. All in all very nice accommodation.

“Wonderful place to stay close to many activities.”
Wonderful hosts with great backstory. Hiking trails through their now-wooded property. Fantastic views, food and people. Close to Krauma hot baths/fantastic restaurant and much else besides.

“Welcoming Comfortable hotel converted from farm buildings with character”
Nice friendly atmosphere in this farm - formerly cows and sheep now trees. Good breakfast in tastefully stylishly converted cow barn with great river view. Owner family very helpful. Sunset views wonderful

“Quiet accommodation in the neighbourhood of Hraunfossar”
Room, staff and breakfast were all great. The location is 5min drive from one of the waterfalls.

“Excellent stay”
Excellent place to stay in the Husafell area. Excellent staff, very friendly. Good breakfast. Dinner really exceeded expectations, delicious. Really good value for money. Lovely views across valley.
