Dating back to 1828, this family-run farm in West Iceland offers bright rooms with country-style décor. Facilities include a guest kitchen, TV lounge and terrace with outdoor hot tub. Hraunfossar’s waterfalls are 15 km away. Guesthouse Steindórsstadir, West Iceland's rooms offer views of the mountains, countryside or Eirïksjökull and Okjökull glaciers. Two shared bathrooms with modern facilities are found in the hallways. Free tea/coffee is available in the communal kitchen, which has full cooking facilities. Breakfast is also served there. The lounge has a TV, CD player and sofa. Steindórsstadir Guesthouse is 2 km outside Reykholt and a 30-minute drive from Borgarnes. Parking is free on site.

Love that there was a sink/vanity in the room. Bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen is large and clean. Hot tub is a bonus!

The property is spacious and represents fantastic value. I have travelled to Iceland many many times over the years and have never left a review. The living area is excellent with comfy chairs and the Wi-Fi is also great.

Very nice accommodation, with a beautiful view. The owner was very friendly. Big plus was also the hot tub outside that was free to use. The breakfast was also very nice. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely guesthouse in nature with lovely breakfast and spotless rooms and shared bathrooms. Krauma baths are very close and the peace and quiet was a great end to our trip!

“Charming Countryside Stay with Great Amenities, a Friendly Host, and a Perfect Location”
This accommodation was such a positive surprise! It's in a very quiet location accessible by a countryside road. The room was small, but was comfy, warm, cozy and had everything I needed. A full kitchen is available to use as well as laundry facilities. I had the breakfast included, and I was happy with it (I had my own, but if you require non-dairy milk, you might want to contact them in advance). The hostess was super nice, she served me breakfast and was available to answer my questions - she gave me some good advice which helped me to better plan the rest of my day. I didn't use the shower as Krauma Geothermal Baths and Spa are just 11 minutes away. It also had a stunning view from the terrace.
