The private hot pool outside to look at the auroras was a treat! Very cosy and friendly atmosphere. We were very well welcomed.

Very cosy little hostel in beautiful surroundings, a good outpost for exploring the West Fjords. Convenient check-in, well-equipped kitchen, newly renovated and clean bathrooms. Would stay there again!

“fabulous views”
This basic hostel provided large kitchen, dining and lounge spaces. The hostel is cosy with lovely views over the town to the fjord. Beware: no shops are open in this village on Sunday or Monday and it's 100km drive to the get supplies.....

“Excellent place, highly recommended”
Very clean place with all necessary equipment in the kitchen. Nice atmosphere between the travellers that were coming from many different places (Europe, Asia, America). Beautiful surrounding area. Very nice hot tub and sauna in the place that we enjoyed using.

“Good for one night staying!”
The room was basic and clean. There were a tap and sink in the room. That's was very good! There were two large fridge in shared kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Amazing stay - don't hesitate to stop there!”
Such a cozy hostel in the "middle of nowhere" in the Southern Westfjords. Exactly what I wanted after a long day of driving in the rain. The place is small and it makes it therefore super cozy. The couches and "hygge corner" by the big windows are so comfortable, and the kitchen has everything one needs to cook a good meal at night. 2 stoves and 2 sinks, so it never feels busy. The twin room was a very decent size with a sink and a beautiful view on the mountains. Beds were comfy. And showers and toilets were amazing, big and brand new. The big plus is the hot tub outside and apparently there is a steam room in the basement as well, but I didn't know and did not get to use it. I got to talk with the owners in the morning and they were very sweet and let us stay on the couches while everyone was gone and they were cleaning. Good job with the hostel and vibe you created, and I'll definitely come back if ever in the area again 😍
