“An older look and feel in the hotel, but very friendly staff. Shops nearby.”
The breakfast was a good, full breakfast, with plenty of options. I arrived down for my brekkie just 10 minutes before it officially ended. By that time the waitress had already moved things away, but she was very quick to bring me back absolutely everything! =D Very good service, although I only needed a few of the items already removed. The view from the restaurant was cool, with mountains in two directions. From my room I also say a huge mountain. The location was really good, with food stores a walking distance away.

Views are great like everywhere. For one night stop very good option, since everything you might need is "rock-throw" away. Breakfast was also pretty good.

“Owners trying hard to provide clean and fresh accommodation. Town lacks any adequate places to eat”
Rooms and laundry were very clean and fresh, Owners clearly trying hard. Breakfast was ok. Restaurant was full both nights due to two functions. Town had very limited places to eat.

Great stay at hotel Austur. Room was good and linen soft. Breakfast is continental and did surely overcome our expectation. Would have loved to stay another night. High recommendation.
