Overview
The Macaris Suites & Spa offers sea-view suites, within 2 km from the centre of Rethymnon. The 4-star hotel offers free public Wi-Fi. The spacious and modern Macaris Suites are fully furnished. Each has a luxurious bathroom with spa bath, a kitchen with dining area and a living room. During the summer, guests of the Macaris Suites can enjoy 1 outdoor swimming pool and 1 outdoor children's pool. All year around you can enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub which are located in the spa centre available for adults only. The restaurant serves a rich buffet breakfast and dinner. A-la carte lunch options include Greek and international dishes. From June to September on the roof garden a la carte restaurant -bar, dinner and drinks are served offering views of the Venetian castle. The 24-hour front desk will assist you with car hire and ticket service. There is free public parking close to the hotel.

Although it is not far from the centre, it is located on a hill which makes walking a bit unpleasant especially during summer months and with a family.

Wonderful spacious suite with beautiful terrace. Easy walk into town and to local supermarket. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Provided good quality packed breakfast as we were leaving very early on a day trip. Great restaurant terrace

I loved the hotel and the staff. The room was amazing, of course it wasn’t a room, it was a small apartment. One of the very best features was the amazing outdoor terrace area that my apartment had, with plenty of sun or shade depending on what you wanted. Plenty of choice of food for breakfast. Location was slightly further away from the centre than I’d expected but still within relatively easy walking distance. A quiet location and not over-run with tourists. Great view of the fort across the bay.

Very quiet, comfortable and spacious executive one bedroom suite on the 8th floor with excellent terrace balcony sea view. Breakfast catered for all European tastes. 10 minute walk from the town and bus station, with a supermarket close by. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Airport shuttle bus available to Rethymno (8Euros) as well as Herkalion and Chania (e-ktel.com). Recommend Othonas Taverna for a Meze meal. Lovely small beach opposite the hotel with natural sea rock pool used by locals. Would certainly recommend this hotel for future vacation.
