Spacious, comfortable appartement at the heart of the old town. It doesn’t get much better than that. Everything spotlessly clean, a good bed, a well-equipped kitchen and large terrace with privacy. But the main perk of this accommodation must be the host, Effie. I have never met a host that was to friendly, hospitable, interested, caring and helpful as she. Effie did not only provide useful information but also local products she wanted us to try. Cheese, raki, wine… It was an extraordinary experience and we will certainly book here the next time when we go to Rethymno.

Everything!!! what a beautiful place fully equipped tastefully done fantastic balcony in the heart of Rethymnon who could ask for more although there was more ! Lovely property in the old town, lots of lovely restaurants & only 10 minutes from the Venetian harbour. It’s immaculate, comfortable & our one bedroomed apartment had a lovely sunny balcony. Effie was great, she helped us with plans & transport & was a great host.

Clean, modern and perfect for 2 people. Easy access right in the Old Town up 1 flight of stairs. Very nice balcony overlooking the cobbled street below, great for watching other people on holiday strolling through the Old Town. Effie met us on arrival and was attentive throughout our 3 night stay with suggestions where to eat or which beach to visit. She also was very kind and offered home made lemonade on arrival, hand made biscuits and a leaving gift of herbs, olive oil and raki.

We loved our host Effie the most, she was an exceptional host and made us feel right at home. The location is super central, when on the patio you feel the humming of the little town but inside it’s so quiet and peaceful. Every thing you might need, Effie has thought about.

This apartment is really a gem! The location is perfect and you are in the heart of Rethimno! We loved the style of the apartment and we fell in love with it immediately! The living room is so cozy and the big TV has all German channels, Netflix, Prime,.... The kitchen is so well equipped and it was perfect to make breakfast and small dinner. The bed is heaven! We slept so well, it was the best bed on our trip on Crete! The patio and the terrace are just amazing, you have to see that! Our host Effie was wonderful! Her recommendations especially for the food were incredible! She is such a warm and nice person and she made our trip unique! We extended our stay because we felt like home here!

Everything. The apartment was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.

Location was very central , right in the Centre of town. Perfect location to take in the Venetian Fortressa , hang out at the cafes or tavernas in the evening. I especially like to walk the road along the water - front below the Fortressa. Nice small balcony to sip coffee on and watch people go by below.

“The most magical time in the old town”

Effie was such an attentive and kind host, by far the best host we’ve ever had. Effie greeted us with homemade lemonade, raki, wine and olive oil, all of which were delicious. Effie really went above and beyond during our 8 night stay, making sure we had the best recommendations in the area and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Effie even brought us some local cheese pastries on one of the mornings, these are now a firm favourite of ours! she also gave us a good bye gift, which was incredibly kind. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay within the old town then this is it, the studio is very comfortable and modern and has a balcony which is perfect for people watching. We would 100% return.

The owner, Effie, is a wonderful woman who met us personally with homemade wine and cookies even though we were delayed and came late in the evening. I have never met such a caring and helpful host before. She has explained us about all the places we could visit around and even showed on the map. It was very easy to communicate with her. Really grateful for the time we have spent there. The apartment is in the middle of old town, close to everything. It has a big sunny terrace with the cover, kitchen and everything else that you would require..

Absolutely beautiful studio apartment in the old town. Effie has modernised the apartments with careful attention to detail and high quality finish whilst keeping the original features. The result is charming and comfortable. Everything was immaculate and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the activity in the street below. Excellent double glazing means that when you close the windows and doors, the apartment is peaceful. Effie is a superb hostess and goes above and beyond to make your stay special. We appreciated the many extra touches - homemade lemonade, olive oil, wine and raki from her family plot, coffee and tea provided. She really has thought of everything. Great advice on places to go and restaurant recommendations too. Highly recommended and would happily return. Thank you Effie!
