The Alm Hut is 700 years old and somewhat primitive, Just what we wanted. It is very quiet. It is not a 4 star hotel, you must understand it is an opportunity to have an experience somewhat similar to older times in the Alps. The ceilings are short because the people were very short. There is a beautiful heating stove, but our stay was in September and we didn't need it. The bathroom is completely modern and the very small kitchen even has a dishwasher. We consider it a wonderful experience. Oh! I forgto to mention the spectacuolar views and wonderful huts to hike to and from.
