“A very special guest house”

Valentina and Giergi are delightful, warm and interesting hosts. The beautifully renovated family home and gardens are lovely, at the edge of Rehove village with its fascinating history in every stone. Peaceful walks are a joy. Valentina adds love and expertise to her cooking. Both our dinner and breakfast were delightful. Traditionally woven carpets and Valentina's hand embroidered table linen and curtains all add to the special ambience. We highly recommend Bujtina Cakuli.

The hosts were waiting for us. The lady of the house did sent a phone message to be sure about our arrival. Location was very easy to reach and find.. just in the entrance of the village. There was a sufficient parking area in their yard. Even in the spring, they did care to maintain the inside house temperature through central heating system. The hosts asked carefully for any special request about breakfast. We found, we have been very welcomed there. Everywhere clean and tidy; Everything was excellent. After we left the property, we as a couple, decided to come back again, and to recommend to our close friends, as an excellent destination.

The owners were very kind and took excellent care of us. Mrs. Valentina prepared delicious dinner and breakfasts for us. The accommodation was cozy and clean. Absolutely perfect towels, I love it when they're soft and have a wonderful scent.

The location was perfect. The nights we were sleeping very good and quiet. Mrs Valentina and her husband are good people. The hospitality was perfect.. The breakfast every day was made by Mrs Valentina with organic products.. The meals we ate there by Mrs Valentina hands was very tasty and yammy and the most vegetables were from their garden. Excellent guest house with very warm and welcoming owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful gardens which we are a traditional meal cooked by Valentina. Lovely evening watching the stars by a fire before hiking Gramos the next day.

“A welcoming home, exceptional food using local ingredients in a tranquil setting”

This guesthouse is a hidden gem. Valentina and George made us very welcome. The bedroom was really comfortable, the breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Everything was homemade and beautifully served in a tranquil garden with views of the mountains. Very good value, but more importantly, a warm welcome awaits any visitor.

“Relaxing stay in the countryside with super friendly hosts”

Hosts were so friendly, as was the dog! We enjoyed conversations about Albanian history, economy, and people (though the dog didn’t have much to say). Rather than drive 2.5km to Erseke, we had 2 lovely home cooked meals from our hosts - much of it fresh from their garden.

Not much to say there a part of... IT WAS EXCELLENT!!! Hosts are outstanding!!!! super friendly, polite and very helpful. We were traveling Albania with the mission to see places, meet local residents and relax while hiking. As far as we managed to travel Albania this was the best place we stayed (the most expensive, though well worthy). Home cooked breakfast, çaj mali and home made refreshing drinks - all tasty and delicious. Me and my son are so grateful to meat such a nice people and massive thank you for taking us for the guided mountain walk. We have been there during not a holiday season and there was just 2 of us in the whole property. I do believe that there is quite a few rooms available for renting. for the best experience recommended to go with family/friends and to hire whole property

“Wonderful stay”

We had an amazing time in this peaceful place surrounded by the quiet beauty of rural Albania. The hosts were incredibly warm and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The traditional food was delicious, and we loved watching locals pass by with cows and goats. A perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic experience!

Everything was perfect, friendly host, comfortable room, with all necessary facilities. The garden outside was a piece of paradise at night 🌙. We enjoyed staying there and I will totally recommend.

I liked everything. The property is a beautifully renovated traditional house, with a large verdant garden. The village of Rehovë is a true relic of Albania’s past and the local people’s construction prowess, with its cobblestone streets, medieval church, and large stone houses with traditional roof tiles. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and well educated. Breakfast is delicious, with locally sourced products, and other meals can be provided upon request. Absolutely recommended.

“Beautiful house in the hills”

A wonderful retreat in the hills. The house and room are beautifully done. The hosts were very welcoming and looked after us very well. Lots of local wildlife including a friendly dog and kitten too. A lovely home cooked dinner was the highlight of our trip to Albania. Thank you.

Beautiful rustic property in a remote location, created an authentic experience of Albanian villages and the local Life. The hosts were kind, extremely hospitable and friendly. The hostess is an amazing cook, she made us a wonderful dinner — a local mutton dish that was both sumptuous and scrumptious!!

“Wonderful place!”

We had a very special stay at Bujtina Cakuli. The villa, located in the historical village of Rehove, is super clean, nicely furnished and very well equipped with everything that we needed during the stay. The big garden is just perfect for a peaceful mind far from the city life. The owners are very nice and friendly and made us feel at home. They cooked homemade breakfast with organic food from the garden which was delicious. The highlight of our stay was spending time with their cute cats who filled our hearts with love. We will definitely come back.
