“A l'orée de la forêt is set in a beautiful village. Gorgeous cottage with lovely hosts.”
Hosts Virginia and Eddie were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay- they even invited us to a pop-up garden music night in the grounds of the local church. The scenery in the village is beautiful with a forest walk just down the street. Cottage is furnished beautifully.

“Clean, comfortable and full of character!”
Wonderful property in Recloses, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, and a well appointed apartment. We really liked the furniture and furnishings, and the maps / general info about the Fontainebleau area were really useful, too. The instructions on how to operate the sofabed were also greatly appreciated! We really enjoyed our visit, thank you! :-)

“Perfect spot for a stay outside Paris in quiet quaint town. Only wish we could have stayed longer”
Beautifully refurbished building with lots of nice touches, beautifully designed with fully working antique furniture and utilities. Very comfortable beds and very clean.
