“Quirky/ cute vibes, but not for a solo traveller”
The hostel is nice and quirky with good artwork. The outside area is nice with a hammock and seats, although you’re next to the road. There’s opportunities to make friends however it’s difficult for English speakers! I loved their cat and dog who made it feel like home. The provision of filtered water was really nice.

Awesome hostel in a great location within Recife. The decor is very beautiful and gives a home like feel. I needed to change rooms and the Staff were super helpful

“One Night Stop”
I was waiting for a bus, so I booked for one night. I slept well here and got a decent breakfast in the morning. Seemed well run and the spaces were clean

“Great place and great vibes!”
Great place to stay in Recife and meet amazing people. The hostal is beautiful, has a well equipped kitchen, comfy rooms with ac, nice garden. It's clean and well mantained, the staff and volounteers are amazing. The location is good.

Beautiful hostel! Clean bathrooms with hot showers. The staff is very nice. You can use the facilities after check out if needed which is great if you are travelling later in the day.

“Very bad expérience”
I had a very bad experience at this hostel. The staff seemed only interested in money, with little care for the well-being of their guests. As a solo female traveler with a flight at 3 AM, I asked if I could stay in the common area until midnight because I didn’t feel safe spending the evening alone at the airport. They refused and told me that if I stayed after 7 PM, I would have to pay for an extra night. I accepted to check out at 7 PM as requested. However, when I arrived at reception, they told me I had to pay for a full extra day because I hadn’t checked out at noon, something nobody had informed me about. After a long argument, I was finally allowed to leave without paying this unreasonable fee. I do not recommend this hostel, especially for solo female travelers.
