Overview
This central Rättvik hostel is 1 km from Lake Siljan and 25 minutes’ drive from Leksand Sommarland Water Park. It offers a communal kitchen. Each simply furnished room at Rättviksgårdens Vandrarhem has a washbasin, desk and wardrobe. Bathroom facilities are shared. BBQ facilities and outdoor seating are offered in Rättviksgårdens Vandrarhem’s garden. The hostel also has ski storage. A breakfast buffet is available on request Hiking can be accessed directly from the property and the area offers cross-country ski trails. Other area activities include bowling, fishing and mini golf. Dalhalla is about a 9 km drive away and the bus stop is 50 metres from the property.

“Cute and budget friendly place to stay at”
Very clean and well equipped hostel. The town is also very nice and lovely to walk around in. The lady at the reception was very friendly and welcoming.

“Nice, clean, cozy and friendly”
The property was safe, clean and cozy. The staff member at reception was great, they really helped me out with getting to Dalhalla because I was unprepared, with no transportation pre-booked. Much appreciated that they went beyond what was their responsibility to help me out.

“Great value, nice location, worked well for our one night stay.”
We wanted to stay in the town of Rattvik and this seemed like a good choice for our party of 4. We are well past the youth hostel stage in our traveling, but our quad room was perfect for our one night stay. There were many Swedish families and adults staying there and the experience was way better than we feared from a "hostel". Highly recommend it.

“Lovely 1 night stay”
The place looks lovely and is fairly easy to find. It's very clean and the decoration, although minimal, is cute. The staff was great and welcoming. I liked that there was a sink and a mirror in the bedroom.

First of all, the kindness of the personnel is amazing, they're so welcoming and always ready to help! The rooms are typical for hiking huts: practical but with the necessary comfort. The kitchen has a lot of equipment and the whole area is rustic and peaceful. Everything was very clean.
