Lovely peaceful location. The hosts are wonderful people and provide top level hospitality. I highly recommend this property and the people. The Grab app was great for food and rides.

Royal Mountain View is a hidden gem tucked away in lush greenery. The cottages are set beside a peaceful pond, surrounded by wetlands and birdsong. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our cottage: a charming house with a high-pitched roof, soaring ceilings, and large windows that opened up to a serene landscape. The entire setting exudes tranquility and space. The grounds are well-kept and offer the calm atmosphere of a countryside retreat. What makes Royal Mountain View truly special is the thoughtful blend of comfort and style. The larger cottage we moved into was bright and spacious, with a generous living area — perfect for families. A small play kitchen inside was a delightful surprise, adding a playful touch for little ones. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the surrounding nature invites you to slow down and unwind. In the evening, we watched fireflies twinkle through the windows — a magical end to the day. Breakfast the next morning was simple but satisfying: rice with a fried egg and some bread, and a quiet seat in the garden to enjoy the morning sun. The overall vibe is warm, relaxed, and personal — like stepping into a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life. Royal Mountain View isn’t about luxury; it’s about natural beauty, genuine hospitality, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. “Extremely disappointed and felt the place doesn’t reflect what’s in the promotional material”

The property on the Bookings.com in no way matched the reality we encountered when we arrived - so we were forced to leave and find an alternative place. The owner was indifferent and immediately advised that the ‘full’ amount for the three (3) nights would apply…even when we pointed out that the location’s “facilities” were a misrepresentation. There’s nowhere is an image of a ‘lake’ in the promotional videos…but you have to cross over bushes and (probably) someone else’s property and field to access it - there’s no obvious ‘natural pathways’ from the ‘dwelling’ we were assigned. Apparently you can ‘swim’ in that lake (pond?), but I wouldn’t risk it. There’s nowhere to get a meal in the area (we were told we could “call Grab”) and the owner said he provides breakfast - but that didn’t inspire any confidence. This has to be one of the worst ‘holiday’ experiences I’ve encountered. I’m typically someone who writes positive reviews. So this is written to advise others to be diligent about what to expect (the actual accommodation is ‘passable’) and I’m neither fussy or ‘precious’ about accommodation in a “natural” setting.

The accommodation had all necessary features to guarantee a comfortable stay. Peaceful environment, lots of birds to spot. The hosts are very charming people and help you to make the most of your stay in Ratchaburi. Highly recommended 👌🏽

The picture of Hin Khao Ngu Park magically attracted us here. Arriving in Ratchaburi by train from Bangkok, there was no taxi to be found anywhere. But the friendliness of the people here helped us. Well, that's how we got here. After Bangkok it was like a piece of paradise and the owners were good angels. Everything just fell into place. We really enjoyed our time here and now we continue to Kanchanaburi. Luckily the owner drove us there by car. Pure relaxation! Thanks for everything and goodbye.

They have a garden full of fruits. They have a lake you can swim in there. The nature is superb. The hosts are amazing.
