Family-run delightful small hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, eager to please. Lovely views, very quiet at night. Indoor pool and bar/restaurant bonuses. Secure parking. 40 easy mls to Santander ferry, will definitely use again.

This was our second visit and we will certainly be back again. The location is so serene and peaceful, the hotel is in the centre of a beautiful valley and is superbly equipped and decorated. The staff are so friendly and helpful which also adds to the experience, the food is excellent and reasonably priced also.

Newly decorated, spacious rooms. Room with beautiful mountain view. Nice area for inside and outside dining. Clean, heated pool. Safe parking directly at the hotel. Situated in a small village in the hills, very quiet. Dinner in the hotel offers good value for money and no other restaurants close by. The tomatoes from the hotel´s own garden are truly delicious :-). Last, but not least: The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly and does everything to make your stay comfortable and special. Sandy beach at the coast 20 - 30 minutes drive away (free parking). Well situated for hiking, visit to caves, trip to Santander or Bilbao.

Great hotel room; quiet, very clean and very good beds. La Posada de Ojebar is situated in a very small village with superb views on the mountians and (at some places and with bright weather) a stunning view on the coastal line of Cantabria.

A wonderful small hotel set in a beautiful location within a very small village. The hotel was perfect in every way , we stay in the new building which had lounge , reception and restaurant. The bedroom was delightful with comfy beds , nice rural view and stunning shower room. We ate in the restaurant and had an outstanding tasting menu which not only tasted good but was beautifully presented (and far far better than we have recieved in other 5 star restaurants). The hospitality team were professional and still super friendly and helpful, and the property so clean. We will definitely return again to sample this place again.

Superb location with amazing views. Swimming pool in conservatory which we were able to use. Beautiful room with sun terrace. High spec bathroom with rainforest shower. Breakfast and evening meal were outstanding. Very attentive, helpful and friendly staff

Middle of nowhere. Very clean. The setting is superb, especially the views over the mountains. The swimming pool was amazing and surprisingly not advertised very much.

We loved our stay here. Tucked away in a small village, off beaten path, yet comfortable, well thought through, and with excellent restaurant. Breakfast was amazing.

From arrival to departure our stay could not have been better. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the location is amazing and so peaceful with amazing views. The decor and fittings are of the highest standard and all outside areas were perfect. The photographs on the site barely do the Posada justice, we can't wait for our next visit which will be longer next time.
