“A solid economy class hotel in a nice place (sadly the beach was closed)”
The staff was nice and welcoming. We had arrived early morning and they provided early check-in, which I'm grateful for. The room faces the sea and the beautiful bay. There are free gym, tiny sauna and steam room. ------ We stayed for 10 days, and the whole coastline was closed for the construction work, which was quite discouraging. But the hotel has a pool and two small ponds for kids, so we mostly stayed there. There is a construction site to the north of the hotel, but as I understand it's like this everywhere in the UAE. The room service was ok, for some reason they don't take change left in the room, you only can handle it in-person, I believe because of the strict law. Cleaning is daily, but they often take all towels and don't provide new, so you have to call the reception, same with toilet paper. The room view is very nice, but it can get loud in the evening till 11 p.m. There is a canteen on the 1st floor, you can get a good meal for approx. 65 UAD. We also had asked for the initial transfer (250 UAD from Sharja) and the taxi service several times at the reception desk.
