“A great place for a successful holiday.”

We spent two pleasant weeks at Majella Garden in Rapino. The apartment with a separate entrance is very spacious, with a nice view of the garden, equipped with everything you need for a long stay. The bedroom has a large, comfortable bed. Guests also have a terrace with a view of the mountains. The host is the wonderful Jacquie, helpful with everything. There are two delicious restaurants serving local dishes near the apartment. Majella Garden is a good base for trips to the mountains or the seaside. Abruzzo is a beautiful, underrated region of Italy.

The apartment was not only very clean and comfortable but also very well equipped with everything you could think of to hand. It looked out into the garden and you also had access to the outdoor to eat as well as relax. Perfect location to enjoy village life with the Majella National park nearby. Jacquie was the perfect hostess, friendly and informative whilst still giving you all the privacy that you wanted. Definitely returning again next year.

Jacquie is really an excellent hostess, thanks again! The apartment is very good: comfortabel bed, well equipped kitchen, everything you need for a longer stay is available, even a washing machine. We liked the garden with view on the Majella very much. The private parking is a plus, however not needed, because Rapino feels as a safe village. There is a bakery close by where you can get freshly baked bread etc. every day. There is a list available with .>10 dagtrips. The environment is wonderful with authentic small villages. and also many options for hiking in the beautiful nature. The beach is about 30 minutes drive.

Good with secure parking just outside. Nice with the garden with sun beds. Perfect location, spacious accommodations, and a fantastic hostess in Jacquie. Great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. We also received some fantastic olive oil from the local cooperative. We would gladly return.

“Great relaxing holidays”

We had such a great stay in this very lovely house. It is very well equiped Incl every time hot water. It is quiet with a private zone in the garden, we relaxed completely. With a short nice walk to Rapino we got our Italian Coffee with Cornetto. Nearby there is a little shop and a restaurant. For more shopping you have to go to Guardiagradele, is the next little town. Jaquie took care of us in a very gentle way. Thank you so much, for offering your nice part of the house.

“It was an amazing experience.”

Jacquie met us for the first time in her life, but she treated us as if we were her friends. She offered advice and help, talked to us, while never imposing with her presence. She is a very nice and intelligent person, she exudes positive energy. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, we felt as comfortable as in our own home. The town of Rapino charmed us with its narrow picturesque streets and old stone houses immersed in greenery. We explored Maiella National Park, we especially recommend the trail to Hermitage of San Bartolomeo in Legio - stunning views. The beaches of Trabocci Coast are clean, tidy and completely empty at the beginning of June. We found peace and relaxation. We highly recommend Majella Garden.

“Best standard of self catering accommodation we have ever experienced”

Excellent- the accommodation was so well equipped and so comfortable. Jacquie intuitively knows what her guests need so nothing is missing. She is always on hand to ask questions and has great local knowledge, including providing a guide to the area. Rapino itself is lovely with a fine restaurant just a few steps away and a really cool wine bar. We loved every second of our stay!

“It was an all round successful holiday”

Spacious, comfortable and lovingly furnished holiday flat with a wonderful hostess Jacquie. In the morning the chimes from the church tower, the call of the donkey in the neighbourhood and breakfast outside, in the evening chilling on comfortable garden loungers until sunset, absolute peace at night. We liked it very much. Rapino has proven itself as a starting point for extensive cycling tours. Majella Garden was the ideal base for us to discover the lively coast between Pescara and Ortona and the lonely hinterland with the famous "Blockhaus" as well as to recover from these excursions.

Convenient location for mountains and beach and within an authentic village with some very nice restaurants, surrounded by nice scenery.
