“Money/value top!”
This is a hidden gem at the edge of Tangalle. You live in a family’s home on the 1st floor, very simple room, old bathroom, but price/value is great! You can walk 30 m to the beach and even have private beach beds. I would recommend to stay 2 nights!

“The bathroom hasn’t any door! We found some insects and there wasn’t any warm water to the” shower”! Also there wasn’t”
The people working there are very kind ! The house itself is a bit further from the beach and it has no view to the see due to high trees !

“We loved everything about our time at the fishermen’s lodge.”
Our three days at fishermen’s lodge were super special, we felt so welcome and included in their family. The food in the restaurant was really amazing, the host is a great cook, we loved especially her rice and curry and the grilled fish. The traditional breakfast was also really good! The room was really simple, but still very clean and the host was always ready to help us in any way. You just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach which is nearly empty! In the morning the host took us fishing one time, which was the most special and fun experience! Overall we really recommend coming here for an authentic and local experience with extraordinary people! Thank you for everything! We might come back one time :)

“Great stay”
The hostess is very kind and hospitable. The fishermen were bringing the fish in when we arrived which was a beautiful sight and the beach behind the property is gorgeous. Very romantic evening walk. The room was clean and has a mosquito net over the bed.
