“Perfect off grid experience in the forest with just the right amount of electricity ⚡️”

We loved the way off the beaten track location deep in the forested country with only the sounds of wind rain waterfalls and wildlife. The very limited wifi (only a few hours a day) and the staff professional but laid back service

“Beautiful, peaceful nature escape”

Overall I absolutely recommend staying in the Knuckles if you’re looking for a relaxing, outdoorsy experience off the beaten track. The views from the glampsite are breathtaking and the location is excellent for several different hikes of various difficulty levels. The site charges ~35USD per person for a private guided hike which actually turned out to be both decent value (7 hours) and very necessary (not an easy hike)! Our guide Chamra was absolutely excellent. We hiked to the waterfall and swam there which was easily a highlight of our whole trip. The food was really tasty and the staff at the glampsite were very polite and attentive. The tent was comfortable, there’s hot water 24/7 and the generator is on a few hours a day for charging etc.

“A truly wonderful adventure”

An immersive experience in nature and fully offline. I didn’t expect the road to the pick up location to be as narrow and winding as it was. Once I got picked up by the 4x4 the adventure started and had an exceptional time. The road is really as bumpy as they say, but definitely part of the experience. The staff are all very kind and attentive. I did the waterfall hike with Saj, and it was so much fun! Also enjoyed hearing more about the nature and animals around us. The food was also very delicious. Overall an experience to remember.

“Absolutely stunning spot”

The location is amazing. The views out of the property were incredible. The staff were so lovely.

The glamping is silence in another way no wifi, just a few hours electricity, we are not used to it and this is an experience worth it. The tents should be repaired, but nothing to worry still in a good quality. Staff is amazing, food in this mountain area unbelievable. Warmer bed covers are provided, umbrella, lightning too.

Amazing location, right in the middle of the mountains. The cool weather with mist cover made it a memorable experience for us. A kind word for the staff who made it happen - thank you Banuka, Suren and Team! Your humble nature, insightful information and sumptuous dinners made it extra special! We did the Waterfall Trek - moderate difficulty and thankfully the weather Gods were good to us. The short stay and swim at the falls was absolutely refreshing, kind mention and thanks to our guide Asela!! Overall, would absolutely RECOMMEND some time here to breathe in the clean fresh air, have their healthy meals and rejuvenate at Wild Glamping - Knuckles --- Cheers :)

“Remote and authentic stay”

Remote and peaceful location, authentic experience through villages and nice surroundings. We were the only guests on the night we stayed.

This place was wonderful. Located in a beautiful hill top setting! Fantastic to escape the digital world and soak up the pristine air and beautiful views. As commented by others, the 2km transfer by jeep into the resort is very bumpy..but that adds to the off road/ off grid experience! The cabin was well appointed and the bed was very comfy. We only did one trek to Heel Oya which took about 4 hours with stops for dips at swimming places in the river! It was absolutely fantastic..beautiful scenery and virtually all down hill. Our guide Asela was terrific. Food was good..large portions! The staff were all lovely!

It is an experience that anyone ,who loves hiking and a little pampering at the same time, should have. The view is beautiful, the vibes are beautiful, the staff is amazingly professional, the food is really good. Totally worth it!

Overall our stay was amazing, the tents are comfortable and very clean, the food was nice but nothing exceptional, we were not able to do any of the hikes due to personal circumstances but it was still a very pleasant stay

The Location is amazing, the tents are comfortable, the food was good. Soup and dessert varied every evening, main course was the same. They tried to come up with something vegetarian for me which was nice. I told them in advance that I do not eat meat, however my message did not go through to the staff at the campsite, however they made a plan. Everyone was very nice, the guide for the waterfall trail was super nice caring.

This is a brilliant off the beaten track hiking location. The cabins are just as they look in photos and very comfortable & private. We did the waterfall hike with Sajith- he was so knowledgeable and made our stay. Both an amazing sunset and mad storm!

He and other staff members really made our stay so wonderful, thank you:) The location is extremely beautiful and the rooms and facilities are amazing knowing it is quite literally in the middle of forests! Very relaxing and nature-full stay:) highly recommend!!
