“Good and happy stay!”

Easy to locate with What’sApp communication, about 400m (<10mins) walk from bus drop off point at main road; in-house staff (Ms Riya) was very helpful with transportation (rather difficult here) and general stuff, booked private transport to/fro Kinabalu Park via her. My room has good panoramic view of Mt Kinabalu Peaks! For general convenience, there is a Chinese restaurant just around the corner (1min walk), Bataras supermarket (3mins walk) and of course town centre for more foodstuffs.

Good for the money, wifi did not work when we there

We liked the central location as it was close to the main square & also to the tourist attraction via short car journeys. The view was stunning from the bedroom window, very cool to wake up to & the room itself was a generous size & had a private balcony.

The room was as pictured. Painted cute (inside), clean, warm water, fan... good view from back porch area For us the location was fine as a stop over from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan. Town had restaurants and grocery stores. There was a common kitchen area, but no refrigerator.

The place is well positioned in kundasang close to stores, (night) market, bank, and restaurant. The view of Mount Kinabalu and the valley is amazing. It has all the basic facilities described and it can be considered clean. The owner is open to help and advice.

Great location in Kundasang and what a view from the private balcony! Clean and spacious room, attached bathroom with hot water shower. Comfy bed, standing fan (we didn't need aircon but a blanket at night). Good wifi, parking in front of the property. Supermarket and restaurants withing walking distance. Overall, great value for money.

The location was great. 20 minutes from Kinabalu Park and close to centre of Kandusang. The bed was comfy with great pillows. The view from the balcony was amazing.

The large room and balcony size for even a normal standard room. I think on the website, the size is wrong as this room is bigger. Ask the home stay to re-measure and give the bigger room size.

The view of Kinabalu Mount directly from balcony, especially early in the morning! The water heater works amazing, also strong water pressure.

To be entirely honest, there are only two things I could appreciate about this place: the reliable Wifi connection and the view of the mountain from the balcony, weather permitting.

It had all the facilities, great view of Mt Kinabalu in the early morning when it was clear. Close to the centre of town (400m) where transport from Kundasang can be found. It was also about the cheapest place available. Easy to get to Kinabalu Park HQ using local transport (but returning is tricky - get a driver's number to pick you up, because buses are few and don't stop if full). I'd happily stay again.
