Remote and quiet location, spacious house with lovely hot tube outside and sauna inside. It also had more than enough outdoor space with possibility to bbq and dine outside

“11 out of 10!”

Dijana has done a fabulous job at setting up this property to the highest of standards. The setting is amazing with lovely views over crops towards the hills with a pretty garden. It is placed for easy access to a supermarket and restaurant in the nearby village and to Plitvice National Park. It was probably the cleanest place we have stayed in and even has three toilets. The kitchen is small but has everything you need when on holiday (has a good coffee machine too) and we were welcomed with milk, juice and mandarines. Dijana had also started the fire inside and for the hot tub. Both the hot tub and sauna were a massive bonus. All the small details had been thought of including extra towels, bath robes, new dish sponges, several tea towels , bbq area set up with utensils, etc etc. I’d give this property 11 out of 10 if I could.

“Relaxing stay in outstanding accommodation”

This was by far the best property we stayed at in Croatia. The house is in a beautiful setting. Communication with Dijana was very easy and she was on site to welcome us and show us how everything worked with the hot tub set up and ready to go. The fruit and welcome drinks were great little touches. The house is exceptionally clean and is furnished to a very high standard. The location is perfect for visiting Plitvice Lakes and is approximately 10 minutes to entrance 1. Tommy supermarket and a number of restaurants are also within 10 minutes drive.

Perfect welcome with cold orange juice, mineral water and fruit! The house is beautiful, equipped with everything. The garden is a miracle, peace and quiet. Close to Slunj-Rastoke and the Plitvice Lakes National Park! We spent 3 days full of experiences in this miracle place! Thank you to the Markoci family!

The location and the house was perfect! We enjoyed the sounds of nature all day there! Dijana was super kind and prepared! We had our two dogs with us, the garden has no fence but the property is so big and there are no neighbours so it was no problem at all. This accomodation is perfect if you want to escape to nature while having every convenience.

“Relaxing home stay”

Dijana is very friendly and she waited for us when we arrived. Dijana showed us around and explained how to burn the log fire/hot tub etc. She also started the fire for the log burner and hot tub before we arrived. It made us feel like home. The house is beautiful and it has everything we need for holiday. It is also 15 minutes drive to lake plitvice. There is Tommy supermarket close by about 5 minutes drives. Dijana answered all our questions very quick. The hot tub stayed warm till next day. We really enjoyed the hot tub, we stayed inside hot tub at night chatting and looking at the stars. We had two nights in the house and Dijana let us stay till 3pm on the day we left. It is very kind of her. We definitely want to come back to this house. Highly recommend!

“Luxourious chalet”

The chalet is wonderful, featuring a well-equipped kitchen (complete with quality amenities, though lacking a dishwasher), excellent bathrooms, and bedrooms. Upper floor is nearly a separate apartment, lacking only a kitchen, so probably ideal for two couples. Hostess had fired up the wood burner and jacuzzi for us. The coffee machine makes delicious coffee, and is easy to use.

Behind every Gate is a Story! In the House of Family Markoci we lived quality time - measured in stories with good cheer in the green embrace of nature. We really liked holiday house and its location. House was fully equipped and very comfortable. Location was quiet but not far from many attractive tourist destinations (Plitvice, Rastoke, Barac caves and many more).
