Next to the train station, restaurant downstairs, shop for groceries at walking distance. Beatiful nature near by for hiking. Accesible by train.

Location was great for access to the railway. Access very easy so made for an easy check-in experience. Good facilities at the apartment, beds were super comfortable and lots of space. Kitchen area great for making a drink and could purchase items from the fridge using an honesty box. Great restaurant coupled to the apartments to get nice meals and drinks. Plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Will be back in 2027.

“Scandalous management and total lack of sensitivity towards disability”

I am deeply shocked and saddened by the way this property is managed. Despite informing them well in advance that my son was in a wheelchair and on crutches, we were assigned an apartment on the second floor with no elevator. The management’s only solution was to tell us to 'arrange a room swap with our friends' ourselves, refusing to take any responsibility. This is a total disgrace, both professionally and ethically. Regarding their reply to my friend’s review, it is unacceptable to invent excuses about 'dirtiness' or 'rudeness' to cover up their own failures. The shared kitchen had expired food on display for a fee (donation), and when my wife pointed it out, the staff literally replied: 'I know, put it back'. There was no 'aggressive' communication on my part, only the demand for a basic right: accessibility. You should be ashamed of your lack of respect for a guest with a disability and for trying to blame the customers to hide your own negligence.

Great accommodation close to the train station. I would love to stay here again sometime.

Average accommodation, enough for a simple overnight stay, but otherwise it's more like a hostel with the cheapest furniture, uncomfortable bed etc For someone with minimal expectations ok. Otherwise clean, simple check-in.

“Welcoming”

We did an overnight here on our way to the Istria. The place was perfect for this. The self-checkin worked great. The common area with stocks and volutary self-pay is really considerate. The kids loved the bunk bed, plenty of storage room. It was quiet.

The room was clean, comfortable and I would say quiet. We didn’t hear much noise from the nearby railway line. Also there were ear plugs of different sizes left for us in the bathroom. The shared kitchen was well equipped and stocked with basic food items. The location is good for exploring the region - in the kitchen there were leaflets with the main landmarks. Last but not least the host Erna was very detailed in the instructions, easy communication.

Second time in this place and you know what they say; third is the charm :-) so perhaps we'll return one more time.

“Great stay in Rakek”

I got a free upgrade to a bigger apartment, which was very nice. The apartment was spacious and everything you might need was available. They also provided welcome drinks. The washing machine was a big plus! (Detergent was also provided and there was also a drying rack.) There was a lot of storage space and a comfy chair. The communication with the host was very good. The accommodation is about 15 mins drive from the Postojna cave and there a supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
