Exceptional staff who were polite, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful when I needed to modify my booking last minute. They were competent communicators and able to resolve matters very quickly with patience and diligence. Highly recommend staying here during a visit to Rajshahi, food and amenities are great and the staff are very skilled at handling locals as well as foreigners.

Undoubtedly the best hotel in Rajshahi. The place is extremely well-maintained, and everything feels well thought-out and planned. The rooms are well designed, clean, and very cozy. They also provided a complimentary fruit basket in the afternoon, which was a fantastic touch. They have a small coffee shop on the ground floor that makes fantastic coffee (I tried the white mocha, and it was great). The only Cineplex in the city is also in the same building (the entry/exit is separate, so the hotel itself never felt crowded at all).

The staff were rude at the start re booking. They tried to charge more for the rooms than what bookings had offered.

Last weekend my family and I stayed at the Grand River View Hotel. We had two rooms for two nights. In the middle of the second night, someone tried to use a keycard to get into our room. It woke us up, but we assumed someone just tried the wrong room by mistake. Five minutes later, they tried again... and it opened the door! Even though we had deadbolted it! I yelled, "Hey!" as loudly as I could, and they ran away. I tried looking in the hall to see who it was, but they had run away. I called the front desk, and all he could say was, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," but he could not (or would not) tell me what had happened. I tried checking on my children in their room, but they were sleeping, so they did not answer my knock or my phone call. Not knowing how someone got into our room, and not knowing if our children were safe, we did not sleep much for the rest of the night. In the morning, I spoke to the manager. Her supervisor reviewed the camera footage, and it was a bellboy and two new guests checking in. The front desk had tried to check them into an occupied room. The key didn't work, and the front desk again gave them a new key... to MY room! (Apparently, keys open the deadbolts, too.) And then rather than apologizing immediately, the bellboy ran away! And apparently the front desk staff knew what happened, since he apologized, but he would not tell me. I told the supervisor that I expect two things from a hotel room: safety, and a place to sleep. Since I got neither, I suggested that they should not charge me for my room, at least not for that night. Unfortunately, he refused. The hotel made a huge security mistake. They admitted the fault was entirely their own. And they did nothing to make it up to us. So, poor security. Poor customer service. I will never go back. You shouldn't either.
