Rosetta was the sweetest, best host you could wish for! She was so caring. Her breakfast and dinner was amazing and the villa was so beautiful. Everything was very clean and everyone was in a wonderful mood. We enjoyed the swimming pool very much and the location was perfect for exploring the Etna!

This is a charming old villa in a sweet spot between Catania and Etna. If you come by car (as we did), this is a great location to discover the area. This is a family-run place with home made food and true Southern hospitality! We made a great choice by arriving 'home' for dinners too! It feels like you are a member of the family so you negotiate the food with your 'Mom' instead of selecting it from a menu card (we were happy with it)! Even the house wines are delicious and if you are as nice as your Hosts, you may receive some home made spirits too! We had no time to use the pool or relax in the garden but it looked really nice as well as the safe and spacious parking in the garden. Don't be sad if you have garden-view room in the 'new' part of the house, because you can enjoy the look of Etna from the windows of the corridor anyhow!

The location was beautiful, so calm, lovely view of the Etna, great swimming pool, and rooms with good beds and all you need! What made our stay exceptional, were the magnificent hosts! A very warm and kind family that made us feel at home instantly! And the organic breakfast, featuring home made croissants, cake and cookies was so tasty! Unforgettable stay! ♥️

Rosetta welcomed us like we were long-lost family! We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the place. The setting is spectacular. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool and pool deck in pristine condition. The food was delicious.

Great choice, the owners are very friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. The location is excellent, the place is very well preserved and with a beautiful view from our room we could see Mount Etna and even on the first night we received a gift which was to see it erupt.

“A good base to visit Etna”

The building is beautiful, Rosa and Gino work very hard to keep everyone happy. We felt welcome. We ate dinner twice and enjoyed it very much. The pistachio ravioli and the Parmesan were perfect. The red house wine is just right for me. The pool area is clean and spacious, the water was lovely on a hot day. The room overlooking the pool was comfortable, the bed was firm, just how I like it. The shower was great. A great location to visit etna. Taormina was about one hour and twenty minutes. Two friendly little dogs live on the property, they do not bother anyone, and I loved them!

Fabulous 3 nights here, so well looked after by the wonderful host Rosetta. The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has the most wonderful garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was a feast and we also tried lunch and dinner here which were equally wonderful. Can also recommend the wine and tasting menu at Enoteca dell’Etna which is up the road and very tasty and good value.

Such a lovely warm welcome from Rosa to make us feel at home. We had a room with a great view of Mount Etna. Lovely home cooked breakfast - a great stay. Wish we had time to stay longer
