Very unique place as inside you are surrounded nature, everything what is needed, wooden room, when you are there you can work/ relax in the absolutely cozy and quite area and enjoy the swimming pool, terrace and nice dinner or breakfast. And the owner is so great and so cares if you so you feel like at home!

The region is amazing if you're looking for a peaceful and calm weekend, but also full of activities as trail, just driving in super nice roads or looking for truffles. The owner is so nice, he help me out to get to the house as I got lost... He offer me dinner/breakfast/lunch. I had dinner, really good pasta with, of course, truffles. They have dogs and puppies and I could play with them :) They offer excursions and I went to look for truffles with his son and their dog Hector :) Really nice experience. I will come back again!

Hosts, pool and location

We had the possibility to buy a delicious dinner of pasta with truffles. The area is really quiet and we were well rested to continue our trip after a night at this guest house.

We really enjoyed the remote location with beautiful view over the mountains. Denis was very kind and we enjoyed the dinner (pasta with truffles) and breakfast he made for us. Room and beds were as depicted, very cozy. The garden (e.g. hammock, deckchairs) were great to relax in.

Truffle hunting is interesting, but we recommend to do it after May. It is more likely to find some. Before May the chance is very little.

My stay at Lagotto‘s Peak exceeded all expectations. Traveling with my dog, Archie, we enjoyed a nature-filled adventure like no other. What truly set this place apart were the hosts. Their expertise in truffle hunting added an exciting element to our stay. The food (usually dinner&breakfast) - daily prepared by the hosts - was delicious, with local homemade dishes and fresh truffles that we had found the same day. The family running the guesthouse, along with their adorable pack of lagottos, made us feel like part of their family. Plus, it was great that they were pet-friendly, allowing Archie to join us everywhere on the property, apartment and garden. The remote and quiet location provided a relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat. If you're looking for a nature-filled, truffle-inspired getaway with a friendly atmosphere, this guesthouse is a must-visit.

The owner was very helpful, accomodating and friendly, and made us feel at home at this peaceful location. The kids were happy exploring the surrounding area and swimming in the swimming pool, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

A rustic hide away in the northern Croatia forest. The staff were super friendly and offered dinner as an addition which was delicious and used their own truffles, delicious!

the location is simply stunning, perfect countryside. I can’t think of a better place to relax for a few days.

although the place is not a high end Holliday place the experience was absolutely wonderful. the host was amazing. the food fresh and tasty and the truffel hunting tour a great experience. but above all the dog was actually really welcome.

Hygienic, very nice location if you look for nature and mountains, great host who was really helpfull. We asked if there was a restaurant or store in the area so we could eat dinner. He offered us dinner with his self found truffles and bottle of wine. All in all great food, 3 course menu.
