Overview
Situated in the heart of the medina, Riad El Maâti is located in 200 metres from the gates of Bab Chellah. It offers a fully furnished rooftop terrace with panoramic views. The rooms have a mix of contemporary design and traditional Moroccan-style décor. They are equipped with free Wi-Fi access, a seating area, and a private bedroom. All rooms are serviced by an elevator. The restaurant offers a blend of western and oriental cuisine with Moroccan specialities. Breakfast is served daily at the Riad El Maati. Staff were very helpful, provided information in English when needed and a great filling breakfast. The location is in a good part of Rabat, a quiet area just behind the market and within walking distance from everything. As most Riads the natural lighting is a little limited in the bedrooms but the the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe. For those who are driving there is an underground parking close by which has 24hr security.

“A fantastic introduction to Morocco - Rabat is a confident interesting and stunning city.”
It was so well located in the Medina but a tranquil place with a beautiful roof terrace and places to sit outside our room. Lovely room really nicely designed, clean and good linen and sheets. Clean lovely breakfast and welcoming staff kind and friendly.

The location was wonderful, within the Medina itself. But, you would certainly need a guide to locate it for the first time. The rooms are spacious, open, comfortable and seem secure. Breakfast was tasty and very welcome.

Breakfast is ok, room is huge and location was fantastic, super near to the shopping area. Staffs Khadijah and Hanan were amazing and super helpful towards my elderly parents.

A beautiful riad in the center of the Rabat medina. Very friendly and hospitable staff welcomed us with delicious mint tea and cookies upon arrival. Rooms were very spacious and clean with very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were also delicious. Satisfied with our stay.

Hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Felt like I could come and go as desired. Was able to pick from any room available. Was easy to find and the services offered were worth the cost. Had an elevator which was rare for riads.
