“Chilled out place”
Absolutely loved this place. Ayoub really looked after me, arranged massage for when I arrived, always seeing if I needed anything. The place is very calm and relaxed. Good breakfast, large spacious rooms in great condition. Nice rooftop pool area. Location is great too, near the beach, marina, tram line. Such a relaxing place. All the staff are so nice, the place is well kept and nicely decorated and an ideal base for the whole of Rabat if you’re staying for business or leisure. Aircon, wife, showers everything was great , loved this place

“Lovely stay”
Customer service was exceptional. All staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Bushra, Ayoub, and Mohammed were very attentive to all our needs. The place was very clean and the location was perfect. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was very nice, with freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs served to your liking.

Everybody at the Riad was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast and the meals they served were delicious. The rooftop pool an absolute treat.

“Highly recommendable, but not as authentic as Dar Mayssanne next door.”
The Dar is well maintained and has very attraactive contemporary touches and art. Reception staff were very welcoming and informative. When we needed to drop off our luggage early, they were more than helpful. Our room was on the groundfloor, and very spacious. Sadly, the weather wasn't great, so we were not able to take full advantage of the roof terrace and pool

“Great place to stay - we hope to come back!”
The riad is very beautiful. The staff were very helpful - we arrived early and they had a room ready for us, which was great. We hung out by the pool on the roof terrace for much of the day. The room was very comfortable. We stayed in for supper and the food was very good. Its location near the edge of the medina was a bonus.

“A stay in the heart of a traditional Moroccan community”
Dar Shaam is a traditional Riad style property in the heart of the Medina. Accessible via a narrow pedestrian street no more than 20 metres from the main road. A well maintained property, with pleasant well equipped rooms in traditional decor, on the floors accessible by lift or stairs. Breakfast good with self service and options for freshly cooked omelette etc available . The receptionists were very knowledgeable and helpful. All spoke English, French and other languages. A variety of shops and restaurants close by I would completely recommend Dar Shaam to any traveller who particularly would like to stay in the heart of a bustling local community.

Really lovely place to spend my last night in Rabat. Can't wait to come back again when the weather is better so I can enjoy the pool and roof terrace
