Overview
Quietly situated on a private beach area of Lake Orivesi, this family-run property offers cottages with a sauna and patio with lake views. Rääkkylä town centre is 12 km away. An electric cooker, microwave and fridge are provided in all Koskelon Lomamökit cottages, as well as a seating area with a flat-screen TV, sofa bed and fireplace. Each also has a BBQ. Free use of a row boat can be enjoyed at Koskelon. Fishing licenses are available for purchase, along with strawberries and blackcurrants grown on site. Swimming and fishing in the lake are common area activities, as well as cross-country skiing and hiking in the surrounding nature.

“Enjoy quiet living next to the lake”
The place is a family owned, Kirsi was a wonderful host, she helped us on many occasions during our stay. You may find this place right for you if you want to live in the forest, far away from the noise and big cities. Especially if you like fishing. We came specifically for fishing and were satisfied with results! There is a small city nearby, where you can buy groceries. At one point my father got a fishing hook stuck in his finger, really bad. Kirsi told us the name of the hospital in the city nearby, we went there and a doctor removed the hook, real fun (200 euro).
