I don't understand how this place is not fully booked when you pay for a private room the same as a bed in a hostel. Very clean, hot water and very nice owner. The shared kitchen is a plus, but I didn't need it.

We booked a private transfer to our next destination through the hotel. The driver was friendly but unfortunately, the car was in poor condition, and we were exposed to exhaust fumes throughout the ride.

Great location, right near the central plaza and a friendly owner/manager with lots of advice. Quiet rooms, and comfortable beds with clean bathrooms and a pleasant rooftop terrace.

Terrace is lovely, hot water and super clean toilets. The owner and his little daughter were super nice. He provided all info on possible hikes to do on your own around Xela and how to get there, which was very useful.

Great location, clean, good value for money. I especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace where the kitchen is located. I was able to do my yoga there. Also I found the bed very comfortable and the sheets were very fresh and soft.

Finally a place where it was quiet at night, no dogs, traffic sounds, or other guests making loud noises. Only the fireworks for Christmas, but that was actually a nice show visible from the rooftop terrace. Good beds and facilities to prepare your own meals.

Location, it is close to town centre, you can find everything within 50 meters, nice and cheap breakfast, barber, small convience store and witin 100 meters another one open 24/7. Quiet street so Uber or tour operators can park or pick you up easy. Walking distance to central park with many optios to eat or drink. I felt very safe in Xela. Hotel did my laundry just for 40 QTZ.

“Good budget hotel”

Great location, 2 blocks from the main square, on a quiet street. Showers had hot water. Sophia ,the owner s daughter, is adorable. Nice terrace overlooking the city. There is also a kitchen up there, but I never used it. Robert was a very considerate host; he apologised when his other guests woke everyone at 4 am (going on a volcano hike) or when they were talking for hours late at night on their phones, he politely asked them to finish their calls.

This is the best place I have stayed in my travels! Cheap simple rooms - with lots of blankets. The owner is super friendly and respectful and advised me on directions. The kitchen area is well equipped and is on the terrace which has a beautiful view. I felt so happy to be there in the mornings! The bathrooms were super clean. Soap and towels were provided. Quiet and no disturbance - this is the place for some privacy and rest. Xela is a beautiful spot and this is the hotel to stay at.

You get a lot for the money, very comfortable, friendly owners, and nice rooftop.

I got a single room, which was great, the bed was comfortable, shower water is hot and the balcony has nice view. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I could leave my bags for a while after check out.
