Sis Pat is a wonderful host, warm wekcoming and genuinely friendly. My last visit was in 2019, and its great to see she's still exactly the same. Her hospitality really makes Tranquil feel like a home away from home.

The rooms were clean and the staff was accomodating. The place is nice and quiet, it was my third time staying at this accomodation and will definitely be using it everytime I am in Queenstown.

The unit was really clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a stopover. It had a good sized shower. The receptionist was friendly and kind and even prepared a lovely breakfast the following morning.

“Hospitable place to stay”
I loved the hospitality and the setting. We were offered undercover parking for our trailer with motorbikes which we really appreciated. The room with porch was absolutely stunning. The only reason I'm giving a good instead of excellent rating is the fact that there were maintenance issues. The shower needs a mixer. It was either cold or too hot. The shower door wouldn't open or close properly. To be fair, the maintenance guys came to fix the door but it was inconvenient for us so they left. The wash basin was clogged up. Disappointing that only two teabags were provided as a cuppa before bed and early morning would have been welcome. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We would love to visit again.
