The gorgeous period guest house, Benambra, is ideally located in the historic Queenscliff township, giving access to local shops and coffee houses, as well as easy walks with stunning views into both Swan Bay and Port Phillip Bay. Our hosts, Belinda and Matt, have created a cosy and comfortable guest house with no expense spared on furnishing and appointments. We had access to our own fridge, kettle, and microwave, and a light complimentary breakfast supplied on our first morning. The Banks sitting room provides further meal facilities and a comfortable lounge where you can mingle with other guests if you wish. I can highly recommend Benambra.

Beautifully renovated period accommodation with the most luxurious and comfortable bed. Thoughtful touches including breakfast basket with the best pastries included. And a few Easter eggs too. Walk everywhere from here. Coffee machine appreciated! As was the free Netflix and other streaming services. Checkin and checkout times better than most.

“Relaxed enchanting visit to Queenscliff”

Loved the centralised location, which enabled us to stroll everywhere. We loved the breakfast hamper and the opportunity to stretch out in the common room lounge and have a cup of tea. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Quaint and charming place to stay for a couple of nights.

We stayed in the Rosebud room, it was small but very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need. The bed & linen was sumptuous! And the light breakfast provisions were plenty & delicious. Our stay was very quiet & location perfect, close to everything.

Wow, absolute contemporary luxury in a historic residence. Attention to detail in our room and ensuite was faultless. The supplied breakfast basket was a wonderful bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast in the communal lounge/dining room with the additional treats supplied. The decor throughout the residence maintained the integrity and character of its original era. The hosts consideration of their guests was exemplary.

It’s such a beautiful, cozy and relaxing stay! Bee is incredibly friendly and accommodating! We enjoyed our short night of stay in a lovely room with complementary breakfast basket the next morning. It’s closed to cafes and restaurants. Lovely walk along the ocean in the afternoon. We wish we can stay a bit longer! We will definitely come back again.
