Everything. From Jac and Dilou's warmth and hospitality to them going out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. Breakfast was delicious, the house is lovely and inviting, conversation was easy. Attic room in lovely quaint cottage. Beautiful gardens. Very quiet and tranquil location. Brilliant hosts. Option to pay for traditional French breakfast with home made jam and yogurt which was tasty. Would stay again without hesitation.

The hosts Dilou and Jac and were delightful, the old farm is beautifully renovated with their daughter’s horse in the field and a friendly, fluffy white cat.

We really liked our stay with Dilou and Jac. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very charming. We enjoyed chatting with them over a delicious breakfast. The area is very peaceful but not too far from local restaurants. We look forward to being able to visit again soon.

My 2nd visit - on my way back to Guernsey. Lovely welcome from Jaq & Dilou on a 7pm arrival. Private off-road (secure in drive) parking. Very clean and comfortable room with its own toilet and bathroom. A very peaceful night's sleep with nice bedding and TV etc. Close to Combourg and Dinan if you do fancy a dinner out etc. Will always head here for my return trip back homewards - just a 30min drive to the ferry terminal in St Malo - grab some baguettes and croissants on the way for breakfast!🤗

“Little Paradise in Bretagne”

Chambre à la campagne is simply a small paradise. Everything in this place is perfect, the quiet environment, beautiful landscapes and at sunset you can have your personal bird concert. A wonder to see and hear. The town (VERY picturesque) is close and it is very easy to get there by car. The facilities are wonderful, excellent decoration, very comfortable and have everything you could need. Now, everything is beautiful but the best thing is, undoubtedly, meeting Dilou and Jac. From the moment you arrive they make you feel at home, a warm welcome that, after a long trip, is comforting. They are kindness in person and it has been very good for us to know them! They will make sure you have everything you need and will give you kindness and hospitality that is kinda difficult to find in these times. THANK YOU❤️ We are sorry we couldn't stay longer, but we will surely return!!

A short drive (13mins) to Combourg so close to the supermarkets and Castle etc. Parking at the property was also a bonus. Would be very happy to stay again and great value. Thanking you!

A great welcoming stay. Jac and Dilou went out of their way to provide a breakfast for my wife who was diabetic. A place were you can relax and unwind and enjoy the French rural way of life.

We were very well looked after by Dilou and Jac. They greeted us on arrival and showed us their property and garden. We ate dinner with them in the evening and were made to feel very welcome.
