“Looks good but not for me”

Well fitted out inside in industrial style but it is NOT an apartment. It appears to be a large breeze block converted garage/store room with a dismal uninviting entrance in a back alley (see photo). No windows or ability to have fresh air. Looks very nice inside and might suit some but not for me...too dim and claustrophobic. It says 2 bathrooms but this is misleading. There is one showroom (with sink) and a separate toilet (with sink). The bedroom and shower areas are divided from the living area by panel walls (not full to ceiling). On the plus side - the kitchen area is very well kitted out. On the negative side the toaster was broken (dangerous) and I couldn't see any smoke detectors. The main bed was comfy; the sofa bed not so. It is a 25 minute walk to station and a 35 minute walk to the old town. Plenty of bars/restaurants in the area and a pharmacy and small supermarket nearby.

We stayed in the apartment for two nights in June 25. The location is quite good. There are several restaurants and stores in the immediate vicinity. Even the city center is within walking distance. The apartment is very basic, the building is shabby from the outside. Inside the apartment was clean enough. However, as there are hardly any windows and fresh air, it smelled a bit musty. The bedroom is not a separate room, but only separated by a screen. The toilet was poor. The room was not cozy and I can only recommend it for a short time and only for a maximum of two people.

Great place, near services and a nice Irish pub, comfortable bed and very cozy. Communications are easy with the staff too.

The neighbourhood is lovely and very active, I would easily live in Limoilou. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with beautiful decorations, a cozy space, and good amenities (like shampoo, soap, coffee, sugar, and S&P). Good AC. Great for couples.

Very comfortable loft, fully equipped, Check in was clear & parking spot just right outside main door. We did enjoy our stay.
