“Exceptional”
This building was right in old quebec city, close to the chateau and funicular and Christmas market. Placement was perfect. The ambience of the old building was beautiful. The room was to be expected in a building that age. Nelson, the man at front desk was fantastic with communication, the others barely spoke English and had a bit of attitude, which made it difficult to express needs. The coupons for breakfast gave us the opportunity to meet a wonderful restaurant owner snd really enjoy a great breakfast before heading out. Overall, I woukd highly recommend.

“Quebec City was wonderful but the hotel left a lot to be desired.”
The reception was kind and spoke great English. A free breakfast was offered on the 2 days. Not on the one we booked direct from the hotel.

Great location, clean and overall served our needs. Good breakfast included at the resto next door. The rooms are small and there is no elevator but it wasn't an issue for us as we only stayed one night. I definitely wouldn't consider it for a longer term stay (more than 3 nights)

“Dissatisfied and angry that they were not willing to refund our money”
We left after seeing the accommodation we would have to find parking nearby and pay extra there was no breakfast after it said online there was a breakfast that was part of the reason we booked and after speaking to the person to contact that evening for any issues they would not give a refund .so we left and found another hotel for our stay

“Jovial stay in the heart of Old Quebec.”
Overall the stay was excellent, everything was as expected. The room was great for our stay and the facilities all worked well. The location was unbeatable and was very cosy. We loved the hotel as a whole and would recommend it to others.

“A comfortable stay!”
The breakfast was served at the restaurant next door. It was excellent and with big portions. The location was very centrally located. Easy walking distance to main sights and attractions. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a very small hotel with only 11 rooms, 2 on the main floor, 3 rooms on second and third floor and probably 3 on the fourth floor as well. We stayed in room 7 which is on the third floor. It doesn’t have an elevator so to get up to the floors, you’ll need to climb the spiral staircase.
