Holiday Inn Resort Alpensia Pyeongchang offers direct access to ski slopes in winter and to the private 27-hole golf course in summer. With Ocean 700, year-round indoor water park, the resort invites you to an exhilarating getaway in soothing nature throughout the seasons. Guests Pyeongchang Alpensia Holiday Inn are provided with 24-hour front desk services. Ski storage and rental are available at the resort as well as free parking. Laundry and airport shuttle services can be arranged at a surcharge at the reception desk. Property-wide WiFi access is available at a fee. After an exciting day around its vast resort complex, guests can enjoy Asian cuisine at Mont Blanc Restaurant or relax over drinks at Edelweiss Lounge. Alternatively, various local cuisines are available in downtown Gangneung, a 45-minute drive to the east. Featuring a balcony, each room at Pyeongchang Holiday Inn is equipped with air conditioning. The seating area comes with a sofa and a flat-screen cable TV. Selected rooms feature Ondol, Korean heated flooring. Sam from Concierge was most helpful, went above and beyond to assist us. Staff in general was polite and friendly. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. So convenient having the ski slopes and lifts at our doorstep.

Top option for Alpensia as the ski hill is directly outside the hotel. Staff were nice. Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. Amazing shower! I only gave a 9 rating as I found the food options so limited. They have one main restaurant that serves buffet breakfast but for a family of 5 with 3 kids, this would have been too expensive and not worth it for 6 days as the kids don't eat enough to warrant the price. The cafe was hardly ever staffed and just had a few bread options. Made breakfast for families tricky before heading out for a day of skiing. There is no grocery store nearby, just convinience stores so for the western pallet, we really struggled without fresh fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. Found it strange that there was a Christmas tree and decorations in the lobby at the end of February. Overall, very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alpensia. I would just recommend bringing breakfast foods, fruit and veggies with you if you aren't doing the breakfast buffet. Would also recommend the hotel offer more options in their cafe.

Great buffet breakfast with plenty of options for Korean and Western style food. We had a room with a view of the Alpensia slopes and the hotel is in the ski resort so is very convenient.

Very efficient check-in and check-out. Staff were very friendly, fast and responsive, even housekeeping. Doorstep to ski sport. Super love it!!! Close to a lot of restaurants and convenience store. The view from room was spellbinding.
