“Great place to really relax and unwind - wish we could have stayed longer!”
Great location - being able to walk a few minutes to private access to clean river was fantastic. Very short drive to centre of town and really felt safe and secure - plus great they give you a control to come and go as you please.

“An oasis for a longer stay”
We enjoyed three wonderful days and nights in this paradisiacal resort. Its rooms are enchanting. There are beautiful, thoughtful details everywhere you look. Elisabeth and her husband Jery are excellent hosts and very friendly, happy to help with any requests. The breakfast is first-class. You can also prepare your own meals in the lovely kitchen or use the ordering service. Restaurants are also available outside. An oasis for a longer stay.

“Lovely stay, totally recommended!”
Lovely 𝑩&𝑩, we had a nice welcome and the place was lovely, including Christmas decorations and lights. The room was spacious, and there is secure parking. Breakfast was nice, with fruits, omelette, juice etc. There is also a lovely dog, as well as a nice garden when to walk and enjoy the river.

“Paradise!”
It is like you are in paradise! Great and very clean room and the view from the balcony at the garden, river and jungle is amazing. Elisabeth is so friendly! We gonna miss her and her husband and the friendly dog Blue. We had the best breakfasts during our 5 month trip. Great to hang out in breakfast area and look for birds during the day and also to play some pool/biljart in the relaxing area. The pool is really clean and big enough for a good swim. We loved it so much we stayed for more nights!

“Striving for perfection”
So far La Casa del Rio has been the most luxurious place I have been to in Ecuador. The owners have strived for perfection in the construction of this recently build resort. Beautifully designed cabins with perfect views and comfortable beds. Elisabeth and Jerry are so friendly..your satisfaction is everything to them. This mini resort has a swimming pool, a big covered patio dining place and a huge inside lounge with comfortable chairs and couches. Nothing else but sounds of the river and birds and crickets.
