Situated in Puumala in the Eastern Finland region, Kalliomökki has a balcony and lake views. Cottage is located in a remote area by the lake. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, couldn't ask for better. Cottage has basic amenities like fridge and stove which are run on gas, however no electricity - there are a few lamps available but make sure you bring your own. There's a fireplace by the lake to enjoy sunset. Sauna heats up well and water is hand pumped from the lake. We enjoyed every moment of it, specially fishing and mushrooming. Would love to go back.

“Perfect getaway in the middle of nowhere”
Basic place but the price explains everything. The area around is spectacular. Overall for the money you paid it is 10/10.

“A wonderful comfy quiet house to enjoy nature”
This place is a heaven oh Earth. Very discrete owners who we did not meet left us plenty of drinking water and very helpful instructions. If you seek a place for peace of mind and breathtaking views, thesis your best choice. The drive to the place is scenic and includes a free ferry ride, excellent roads and directions. Very cute comfortable summer house with a gorgeous sauna and everything you need in the little kitchen equipped with a fridge (!) and a gas stove. Beautiful and practical Finnish design of the house and comfortable terrace. Easy access to the lake for swimming. I wish to be back soon and stay a bit longer than 2 nights for walks in the forest and maybe boat rides. Many thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and attention to the details!
