“A unique type of accommodation with great facilities”

The property was rather unusual as it was constructed out of caves dug into the cliff side some 20 years ago. On the same site are caves dating back hundreds of years and a great interpretation centre. The rooms and facilities are great, very well laid out and equipped for self catering. Manuel the owner was great and most helpful. On the first evening he kindly took us onto a plateau to admire the amazing geological vista of the badlands and the sunset and then back via a restaraunt where we could get some dinner. Altogether a great experience and part. Altogether an enjoyable stay in a very interesting area of Spain, very much to be recommended.

Very cold, sheets felt damp in the bedroom, really uncomfortable bed.

- The surroundings were beautiful - The cave room was stylishly decorated - Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Manolo and Dulce were amazing hosts - they looked after us and helped us with all queries. The visit to the museum and caves included in the room price was great - our daughters made paper, climbed to caves, learned lots, and so did we. We would love to come back.

A place which is like a piece of paradise, located in a region that deserves to be better know. Manuel was a fantastic host that goes the extra mile to help his guests discover the area.

Hidden gem, beautiful complex and rustic cave apartment was perfect. the owner was friendly and welcoming and took us to a plateau overlooking the mountains to watch the sun go down, he offered to take us to the museum the next morning but we had to leave.

“Amazing historic location and quiet, super quiet evenings.”

The location was wonderful adjacent to a working olive farm, which we were able to join in the harvest, super fun for us foreigners that are used to only enjoying olives and oil at the table. The troglodyte life was perfect for a couple days, and we could’ve stayed longer had we not needed to return for work.

“Just brilliant !”

Manuel, the owner, was so friendly and showed us into our cave accomadation and all its facilities ... he ven gave us a free of charge trip to watch the sunset on an escarpment about 8km away from the accommodation. The lady who gave us a tour of the museum had fantastic english and was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Perfect location, perfect STAFF (Manolo is amazing and so are the other women we unfortunatelly didnt remember the names). I can call this a hidden gem. We will come back for sure.

“Well worth the experience”

The cave experience is well worth the time. Lots of aulde world ornaments alongside modern kitchen equipment but all blended in nicely. The pool is nice and welcoming (very deep in parts) and will soon need a mini refurb. The surrounding hillsides are full of caves, and Guadix and Perullena are close by and both well worth a visit. The host Manuel was a very affable and jovial character.

There was a lovely welcome for us. The staff here are happy and efficient. Everything runs smoothly in a laid back way.The cave was very well equipped, kitchen has everything you would want on holiday including milk and water in the fridge, tea bags and coffee pods. The pool is marvellous with sunbeds and deckchairs.

“Very disappointed”

Clearly this place is abandoned , the garden is wild and there is no breakfast available you have to book it in advance. There is no authenticity in the hotel room very disappointed
