“Magical place”
We stayed here after 2 weeks travelling around Argentina with a toddler and aging parents. It was the best decision to stay here - finally soak in the sun, breathe fresh air, walk through the pine trees, enjoy the peace and quiet. The Isla cabin was spacious and comfortable for all of us, breakfasts were great and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The beach was a short drive away, and a supermarket, bakery, laundry were all within minutes reach.

“Excellent family stay in Uruguay”
Loved the location. Felt really isolated and quiet. Kids loved the pool and the pool table. The breakfast each day was delicious and the staff were helpful. Easy to drive into town for supplies as well. The air con was lovely as well.

Nice interior design; they have put a lot of effort into it. The best Granola fort breakfast that we ever had. Great breakfast overfall. Nice garden where you could pick vegetables. Great pool

“Beautiful retreat in a sustainable setting!”
The setting - out in the 'forest' just a bit off the beaten path from the beach - is wonderful. Quiet get away, yet close enough to go into Punta del Este for the day. The facilities are lovely and the staff is INCREDIBLE. They are friendly and ready to help. LOVE the use of repurposed materials everywhere!

We had a stay at Cabanas "Bosque," and when we arrived (it was nighttime), we were a bit startled as the place seemed to have quite a few bugs. During the first night, we encountered a spider in the room, and over the course of our stay, we found two cockroaches (one alive and one deceased) as well as a deceased cricket. We felt the place wasn't as clean as expected, and though we raised the concern, only the bed was made, and the towels were changed. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, although it remained the same every day. Overall, we'd appreciate a bit more attention to cleanliness

We've travelled all over the world and this was one of the best places we've ever stayed. The cabins are a work of ingenuity, using unique recycled materials yet everything still feels comfortable. The cabins have everything you need for a great stay. The shower was great, very powerful and lots of hot water. Our cabin was set in amongst the tress and we felt like we were in the middle of a forest. The breakfast was fantastic and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The emphasis on sustainability and the organic vegetable garden were fantastic. The place totally exceeded our expectations and is even better than the photos. I couldn't recommend it more.
