A good location in an old world hotel. A very nostalgic feeling about it. Very quiet rooms at the back of the hotel which dont have a view but you cant hear the traffic or noise from other guests.

Great location, nice clean warm rooms. Free secure parking (only space for 4 cars, first come first served). No packed breakfast but they made a box lunch for us, no extra charge. We collected at 6am and it was the best packed meal we had In our entire stay in chile.

Room 314 was beautiful. The suite was big with a lovely ensuite. The room was separated well by floor design: carpet for the bedroom area and an exquisite polished wooden floor for the sitting area. The bed was extremely comfortable and decorated well. The hotel itself is old yet seems well maintained. The rooms are of an old manor style, and the bar area in the orangery has a feel of the past. I loved the art in the breakfast room, which tells the story of Shackleton's journey and the link to Punta Arenas.

The rooms are too small! A 4-start hotel without a map to share with guests and unable to offer late check-out. Even when there were still rooms available (I checked at booking.com and it was still possible to book rooms for the day).

Breakfast was basic and repetitive. We moved around a lot so grabbing something like this over a short stay was fine.

Beautiful building but very poor room was given 203 suite and it was appalling not as advertised at all. I hope the hotel will take this feedback and make huge improvements or not use this room at all. Receptionist was very helpful and moved us to a suite which was as advertised and much better. The bar area is nice but don’t eat here very poor was served all dishes all at once and the mains were stone cold and inedible. Very disappointing stay after wanting a nice hotel after a long road trip.

Breakfast ok, but hot food not very good. Good fruit. Room good. Staff excellent, especially reception staff. Very helpful on all occassions.
