The view is spectacular and right on Lake titicaca. My bed was super comfy also. Ruben and victoria are very.hospitaple and Ruben spoke English, which was a bonus for me

The scenery from the balcony is like a drawing. The stars in the night are one of the best in my life. The owner has very calm and pure vibe. The whole family was very welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. They served dinner for a small cost. It was tasty and convenient for my late arrival.

“Definitely stay on Uros!”
We really enjoyed our stay with Reuben. He had answers to all of our many questions about the lake and his community. We enjoyed his tour of the islands. His wife is an excellent cook, every meal was exceptionally tasty. He was able to arrange kayaks so that we could explore the islands under our own steam so to speak. The bed is comfy, and covered with many many warm blankets which you need when the sun goes down! The room has USB plugs to charge our phones, and we were able to pick up internet from the mainland using our Peruvian SIM cards. Reuben can arrange pick up from the main land, including a taxi if need be. We’re really pleased we stayed on Uros, and it was an interesting experience differing from our night on Amantani island after this stay, which we also recommend!

Brilliant stay on Ruben and Victoria's Island! They are a wonderful family and make you feel at home immediately. Ruben explains about the history of his community so well and takes you on a tour by boat. Victoria's cooking is amazing! The accommodation is so comfortable - breathtaking views, comfy bed, hot water and and so much silence. Wish we didn't have to leave.
