Fantastic location with a lovely sea view. You can get to Downtown Pepeete in about 15 minutes or less depending on traffic. Airport is just a few miles away. Great public beaches are 15 minutes away. The Carrfour( like Walmart) is a few miles away also. The apartment is very comfortable. There is everything you need to cook, plus a few spices. There was a bottle of water, pineapple juice, coffee and tea for my use. The host Michael and Estelle are the kindest. The internet had an issue and they worked on it and kept me notified of the progress. I felt very safe and the parking is assigned. I appreciated the personal service to get me to the apartment. It's very difficult to find for the first time. I was very lost and Michael came to me and I followed him to the location. I also rented a car with them, which they delivered to me. It was a lovely brand new small S.U.V which was wonderful to drive. Micheal also gave me a ride to the airport. Which I appreciated so much. The pool was cool and refreshing after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. I was very comfortable as a solo female traveler. There is enough space for up to four people if needed. Air conditioning was very good. Tahiti has wonderful public beaches. The jeep tour through the island seeing waterfalls, rivers and gorgeous scenery is highly recommended. The market in Pepeete was so fun. I went twice and shopped. If you don't have the budget for the Pearl market, you can get some fantastic pearl jewelry at the Pepeete Market. All grades. I did a eight hour drive around the island and visited historical sights, beaches and anything that caught my eye on the side of the road. Stop along the way. Fruit. Breads, pastries, flowers, crafts and barbecue. Great prices and support the local people. Every one is friendly and kind. Be a good traveler or tourist. Slow down, respect the land, and people. You'll have the greatest time.
