“We loved Isabela island and staying here was perfect!”

Great breakfast, eggs your way, cereal, yoghurt, juice, coffee and tea etc... no complaints at all. The owner had a cute dog called Messi. Staff were helpful and answered all questions. Short walk to the beach, close to minimarkets and similar.

“Perfect stay in Isabela”
Great staff. Central location. Excellent vegan breakfast. Excellent value for money. Laundry service. Almost all hotels on Isabela are actually hostels. Taking this into account, La Gran Tortuga is an excellent choice.

“Your base camp for Puerto Villamil”
An overall very nice place to stay in Puerto Villamil (basic hotel, but absolutely fit for purpose and had everything I needed and wanted). Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Fast internet. I was even able to check in early as I had arrived a few hours earlier than intended.

We had a great stay here and even got the penthouse room with an outdoor space which was lovely. Room was huge with plenty of light, great shower, wonderful staff and really nice breakfast
