Delicious breakfasts in a beautiful setting. The photos don’t capture the atmosphere of this place. And I don’t think I’ve ever had such a great host.

Juliet was a fantastic host, she gave some excellent advice and recommendations. The place is so homely and in a great location. Its so peaceful and clean, 5 minutes walk to the supermarkets and 10 minutes walk to the beach ⛱️ 😎 with loads of bars and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent with a nice choice and tasted delicious 😋 honestly staying here will be a truly great experience by a host who is so passionate in what's she is doing. We would wholeheartedly return.

Warm welcome, helpful advice to our many questions, brilliant breakfasts - always felt safe and secure. We wound down here for 4 days at the end of a 4 week series of adventures - perfect.

Loved the vibe here ❤️ stayed extra night Juliet and Mark run a great place and are make the stay special Nice, clean rooms and loved the general layout out here with nice touches throughout 5 mins walk to supermarket and 10/15 mins walk to beach but in quiet and safe location Good restaurants nearby and easy uber for anything further away Wildlife rescue centre about 25mins easy walk and please go, they do amazing, vital work with incredible volunteer staff - they do a very informative and engaging two hour tour there. Juliet has excellent local knowledge and tips 🙏🏻 Delicious breakfast 100% recommend 😎

Individually designed rooms set in a small but interesting garden. Friendly and helpful hosts. Well located for access to beach, shops and several good restaurants while being far enough from the town to be quiet and secluded. Good facilities in the room and several pleasant places to sit in the garden. We saw hummingbirds, poison dart frogs and sloths just outside! Breakfast is to order with reasonable choices, very good too.

“The establishment is family-run and is beautiful and very cosy. Juliet and Matthew were very friendly.”

Charming and very clean little room. The house all made with wood and the garden/terrace are beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful area (you may see sloths passing over on the street) but walking distance from the beach, supermarket and everything you need. The owner is extremely nice and gives a lot of tips on what to do in the area.

Excellent location, close to restaurants, supermarkets and the beach but set in tranquil surroundings. Delicious breakfast and Juliet made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. A wonderful start to our first visit to Costa Rica

“A good place to stay at if you are visiting Puerto Viejo”

Our honeymoon suite was in a separate building that had extra space around it, extra light from the roof, spacious bathroom and had all the amenities we needed. Good quality of the buildout and nice style and decoration, nice garden with some interesting wildlife. The area around the property was lush and there was plenty of nature. Clean and maintained. Location was good for exploring surroundings, with bus stop near by and located in between two major parks. Outside the crowded town. A number of beaches with different characteristics to choose from. Owner very skilled, organised and available to help, including with advices for things like onward travel options.
