We appreciated the location very close to the beach and the possibility of borrowing the kayaks. The river was in front of our cottage. We could take the kayaks and go to the beach or go to explore the river . There was the jungle aroud so we had a feeling of privacy. The cottage was big with a good kitchen.

One of the best places to stay in Costa Rica ( I travel a lot). It's literally in the jungle, the villas are very cozy and you have absolute privacy. Very well equipped, great kitchen, you can barbecue outside while you see many species. Only don't forget to bring earplugs for the night. There is very loud little monkey which sounds like a jaguar 🐆. We had the best experience

“Beautiful place close to Punta Uva beach - pure relaxation!”

These are beautiful bungalows, surrounded by nature. We could watch animals in the garden every day just by sitting on our huge and cozy patio. While the bungalows are not brand new, they're well maintained and very lovely. The amazing beach is in 10 min walking distance. Kitchen has everything one needs, although not being luxurious. We had the best stay here during our 3 weeks trip. The Kajak tour from the hotel, starting next to the place, was just amazing. Hint: Ask for a rental bike and also explore Punta Uva & Manzanillo.

We loved the luxurious apartment with its well equipped outside kitchen . Its location was perfect for the beach and next to the river . One big bonus was the property lending out free kayaks and the owner Elise was incredibly helpful.

“Relaxing”

The green, the locations and the house, all great, they have fans and AC for the common room, and hot water, nor a required for me, but it was a nice surprise.

The bungalow stay was really nice. The rooms are well equipped and you can sit nicely on the patio. While I stayed there a sloth and two groups of monkeys passed by so you could see them directly on the site. Kayaking (rental for free) on the river and towards the sea was fantastic. Carlos was really helpful and friendly. Small downside, not many restaurants in walking distance so you have to drive at night a bit.

Kitchen was very good for making breakfast and lunch. Kayaks were great, you can paddle the river saw lots of turtles, a river Otter and monkeys

Beautiful bungalows surrounded by gorgeous jungle and animals. Bunglaows are clean & comfortable & have everything you need & more. Wonderful staff who truly go above and beyond 🙏 I absolutely loved my stay! ❤️

Amazing location right in the forest, but close to the road and walking distance to beautiful beach. The house had everything you needed. We were able to see many animals from our terrace. Amazing! Would definitely come back.

The location was great. Walking distance to Punta Una. The free use of Kayaks anytime we wanted was wonderful! Our Bunglow was surrounded by beautiful gardens & felt private. The Bunglow had everything we needed and the host was extremely helpful & answered all our questions very quickly. The staff and host extremely nice & went beyond to make our trip special. Will stay again!

“Loved it”

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. We had a beautiful little house near the river, with a hot shower and a comfortable bed, also an extra living room and a little kitchen. Could see monkeys and sloths, agutis and a lot of other different wildlife from our terrace. Free water, laundry and kayaks. Everything was really clean and only 5 min walk to the beach. Helped us with everything we needed. A tuktuk to puerto viejo takes about 10 mins. Everyone was really friendly we would def come again.
