“Peaceful stay near Cocles”

The hotel is a small and cozy property atop a hill off the mail road to P.V. There are 4 rooms, and I was in a standard on the 2nd floor. The room was super clean and bright, thoughtfully equipped with dishes, coffee maker, fridge and water purifier, which was a treat.! It's a bit of a steep driveqay, but from the top floor rooms, the ocean is visible beyond the trees. I could hear howler monkeys in the distance and sit outside to watch the birds all around. The aircon was great, and the shower was a nice design and had good pressure. The walk to Cocles beach and restaurants is about 12 minutes - it felt safe in the neighborhood due to various hotel properties and resudences nearby. I found this to be a peaceful and comfortable stay after a long trip!

We loved this place! It's a little outside of Puerto Viejo and you would definitely need a vehicle to get around. The place is surrounded by forest and you hear no streets, only nature (birdsong and howler monkeys). The room has a big window wall and you can see the ocean, it is absolutely stunning! The room itself was tidy and clean, the bathroom was very modern. The TV had netflix and cable which saved our rain filled afternoons. The owner lived nearby and was very nice and helpfull. We even extended our stay by one night, which was no problem.

The owner is a very nice person . The view from the room is beautiful, also they have a cold water bar that is a big advantage. The room and bad is very comfortable.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the view is amazing. But it's quite out of the way up a steep hill and just looks like someone build an annex over their garage.

The Apartment was very clean and modern. Good view towards the ocean. You can rent some bikes for free (unfortunately while we stayed there two of them were broken)

Nice room and view, also some basic facilities like a glass, cup, knife and fork are in the room, what should be normal in every room of that type. Praise for the cleanliness.

beautiful new Airbnb apartment with scenic views. the owner was great and so kind to offer to take me to the town centre if I wanted to buy dinner or needed anything else. the bathroom is very clean and modern and the space has mostly everything you need. would be good to have a bottle of water in the fridge and some shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom (I had to ask). otherwise it is a wonderful stay

The host is exceptional! Went out his way to ensure I was comfortable and well looked after. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet with good facilities, nice view of the sea.

The location is about 500 metres away from the beach but it's located on a high slope so you get views of the ocean from the apartment. The sunrise view is very pretty. And they have constructed a cemented driveway which is just wonderful.
