“Five days in Eden”

This hotel has a perfect location - right on the beach and surrounded by the jungle. In fact, we’ve spotted more wildlife from our room, than during the visit to nearby Cauhita National Park. The staff were very helpful, caring and respectful. The cuisine was balanced and the meals always fresh and tastefully served. Thanks to the whole team and particularly to Victoria and Alma.

We stayed here for a night and had a delightful stay. David was absolutely fantastic and could not have been more helpful - thank you for looking after us! Th room also had a great design, a very comfy bed and a beautiful terrace which we enjoyed with a cup of the hotel’s special coffee in the morning! The pancakes for breakfast were also a huge win.

Awā Beachfront Hotel was a calm, beautifully understated escape right on the beach in Punta Uva. Waking up to the sound of the Caribbean, jungle all around and the ocean just a few steps away created a rare sense of slowing down. The place feels intimate and thoughtful rather than resort-like — great design, excellent food, and a relaxed, adults-only atmosphere. It’s the kind of stay that quietly resets your rhythm and lets nature do most of the work.

Was amazing the the staff are lovely! Saw a sloth on our first day, we also saw monkeys and green macaws which we learned are rare! We saw them all on the hotel beach (obviously naturally as the hotel is on the middle of a forest on the beach) overall it was amazing and the food was so good! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Awa, a boutique hotel located on one of the most beautiful beaches on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Their attitude and professionalism were truly outstanding, far surpassing service standards we’ve experienced in many European locations. The rooms were exactly as pictured, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed yet refined, making it a perfect escape for those looking to enjoy a quieter, more intimate setting by the beach.

A slice of paradise - being surrounded by the jungle and only a few steps away from the Carribbean Sea with a beautiful and what felt like quite remote beach, was just incredible. So was the food and the service. Big thank you to the lovely staff for this wonderful experience.

It was one of the hotels we have ever stayed worldwide, we absolutely enjoyed every second. The staff was incredibly attentive and the food was really delicious - also for vegetarians :) we saw many animals, and the staff even went to our room to let us know when there was a sighting nearby! Can highly recommend!

The staff were so friendly, hard working and polite. In particular Edwing on the reception desk, who was most helpful with every request we had, and nothing seemed too much to ask. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were immaculate. The location is great for a quiet beach with chairs and sun loungers, and food and drink available on the beach too.
